i'm using 1.42v 24/7 on nb with thermalright hr-05 ifx no fan hottest i saw it was 38c
i finally broke 12k:):):)
zsamz_ - thats really great, congrats & respect !!
woot!!! great to see this board has still much to offer!
Has anyone done 500MHz on Q6600 on this mobo by any chance?
My mistake, what i meant was prime stable 500MHz for few hours, and some NB, VTT and GTL settings if possible.
500FSB Prime is in early pages of this thread, I have done 484FSB Prime stable with Q6600 (NB 1.61, VTT 1.60, GTL Disabled), I don't have screens since my RAID0 failure but I think it somewhere here on XS :D. The board is capable of 500FSB, but you need a cherrypick CPU.
Prime stable at 500+fsb with a quad is a very tall order on any mobo. I hav'nt seen anyone post an 8hrs Orthos/Prime run as proof they have done it. Plenty of suicide shots, but no Prime proof. Running a dual core at 500+fsb is easy, i have run an E6600, two E8500's and my current E8600 all at 500fsb or over. In fact i've never run any of them under 500fsb.
I know C2D is easy, have done it on my previous E6750 just want to try it on Q6600 as well.
I know the board is capable, and the cpu is a really good one, i just wandered what possible settings i might need be using and since it's 52F (11C) here i thought i might try it. :)
i miss my DFI P35 board... :( this P45 JR is quite confusing for me :(
If going P45 why didn't you get Dark LanParty man?
great mobo.. this thing runs dead cold even @ full load
the only limit: vtt i need way more than 1.45/more than just 1.6
do the JP10/J16 jumpers have anything to do with vtt? is there a vtt mod posted?
thanks
Why would you need so much vtt?
lol why? cause if id have up to 2vtt or more available @ bios id be able to run my q9650 stable @ 5+ghz :D

I bought an LT P35 T2R cheap and received it today, and promptly installed my E6300+Tuniq 120 for testing. So far, at 400FSB with the 2:3 divider on 266 strap, I can only seem to get my Ballistix 8500 kit stable. None of my other D9Gxx kits can pass MemTest. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or what...
hehehe funny gif... but not ALL the time true...

& yup, under the hood it says D9GKX :D
I never figured what these jumpers are for. I attempted to increase VTT over 1.6v in the past but ended up modding the vNB (controller between IDE and SATA ports). You could try asking onepagebook over the ocxtreme, he has direct contact with engineer of this board.
i can't do over 1150 with any of my 4 sets of d9gkx
but my 2x2 gskills pc2-9600 broke 12k:D
i can go higher but i dont wanna break 2.1v:p:
No way man, I got PC2-8800 and they crapped out at 525Mhz, didn't even reach rated 550Mhz.
tHat's hot $hit. Make cold and try 10x
