Seems as bad as the Yegg KIT. This is on a DFI SLIDR Expert with 704BT bios and orange slots.
It just run at 200 2-3-2 and nothing more.

Will try with exact same timings in the 1st post now... but I thing that this should be runing fine at those timings...
Which value is 100Mhz 1.95us in bios?
:confused:Quote:

gundamit ?
I just got that bios from: http://lejabeach.com/DFI/dfinf4expert/
Thats pretty strange, I've just passed it fine at 245Mhz SAME timings (3-3-2 2.68V)... weird :stick: Problem solved?
Not! After every reboot it becomes unstable again at 205-210Mhz :stick:
The name of the file looks like its a BigToe bios from July for the original DFI NF4. Your board is running, (albeit somewhat unstable) so it must be an Expert bios. Odd choice for the name though.Quote:

Seems i've found an stable configuration. 250Mhz 3-3-3 at 2.7V, all timings set in bios (exact as the first post).

Edit: It's finishing OCCT Test at 255Mhz Cas 3-3-3 1T 2.70V
Does Trp at 2 not work? What are your full settings with A64 tweaker?
With Trp at 2 can't boot over 235-240Mhz.
Those are my current timings at 250Mhz 2.73V:

Couldn't try anything yesterday, caught the "winter vomiting disease", I think that's what it's called.
Today I got the memory to this at 2.8v (not sure if it's stable or not):

these are the only things I have set in the BIOS, I'm doing 2.5 3-2-5 2.7v at 241 right. I've had them up to 250 3-3-2-5 already also same voltage. Every other settings goes to Auto.
Could I get a tech to PM me on what to look for under the heatspreaders? I'll do a check before I say start crying on here about receiving a bunk set of these from newegg. I started at 250 with the timings displayed on the initial page (ultra d, venice 3200 stable up over 2.6ghz). I couldn't get into windows. I had various plans of spending hours upon hours of tweaking to see the highest I could get them to go and at various voltages ect... but first I had to get into windows...
So... I lowered fsb in 5mhz increments to get into windows... at 215 I finally got in, crashed almost instantly at desktop... at 210 I got into the desktop, stable for 30 seconds this round... then crashed, not even under load. (please remember that was at 3-3-2-5)At this point I decided to test my pair for its rated timings / got into windows, crash under load.

agent
i have installed mine yesterday in a A8N-sli deluxe from asus, at stock settings everything ok, prime stable at loose timings about 240 1:1 but have to check further but i do have two questions:
1) whenever i change the cas setting in windows (A64-tweaker), the system hangs; any ideas to why ?
2) A64-tweaker doesn't seem to properly remember my settings when i save them , whenever i load them afterwards 2-3 things are different again (e.g. tref & mem clock 3 disabled); i've tried changing this in the file itself with notepad which worked for mem clock 3 but not for tref for some reason ?
then just one general question because the settings in this thread (tried all of them) don't seem to work with my setup; what are the settings i should definetly loosen first to get high(er) clocks ?
thanks
Seems like my sticks are crap then :(. Mine won't even boot at 220 at 3-3-2-5 with all other settings on Auto.Quote:

Will the sticks do 200fsb @ 2,3,2,5 ??
They will, but anything higher won't boot.Quote:

Are the current kits working out for buyers or not
Well, I have confirmed this is the right stuff, atleast by overclock... This set I have simply won't run stable at trp 2. I can get the ram bench stable @ 3-3-3-5 242 at maximum before the crashing occurs again, and ofcoarse anything less than that will load / run windows just fine.
I'm a little (un-exagerating) disappointed in this set, I purchased a pair for my brother and tested them in this same system, straight out the box they did 250 3-3-2-5 without so much as a hicup. I liked that, and decided to go ahead and pick up a set for myself. It just figures I get stuck with the dud set. I would keep this set had it run 250 3-3-3-5 with stability, but it wont even get to the windows loading screen at that speed.
*sigh*
Mine are finally stable at 251 3-3-3-5 2.68V.
Which is the maxium safe voltage for this type of memory?
It's officially rated for 2.6-2.75v. So you are still safely within rated voltage. I've had mine up to 250 3-3-2-5 2.7v.
the recent 2GBZX is not stable on Overclock, i recommend to buy 2GBHZ for now. but for DDR400 users, 2-3-2-5 2gbzx still is the best choice :) right?
2.65v is very good :)
and guy,if your 2gbzx is not oc well, post some pictures and someone will love to help, thx :)
So would these be the sticks to get if you are willing to have slightly less cpu HT but beter timings or would that ne the HZ
I do not play games so I do not care about 3dmark scores, I care about performance because I use 3d programs which requires good I/O bandwidth which I think CAS timings mater
