From NCIX to USA is like 7 days even with $25 Express ship. Might as well wait for local stock. probably would get it sooner and less expensive.
Maybe the rethink is getting rid of that ridiculous extra 4-pin connector above the PCI Express slot. I mean, come on! It's got an 8 pin and a 24 pin power connector!!! Why the hell did they put that 4 pin connector on there?! :slapass:Quote:

Simple....trace lengths. There is far more to designing a mobo with consistent power levels than the type of connectors and the watts/amps behind them. "Where" in the circuit power is introduced is very important. When you build a board to be able to run out of spec this becomes even more important.Quote:

Loosing faith in them at very turn.
There's more to it than just ditching it......you know, just because. That is why everyone whines about the Epox 9NPA+Ultra, it's not as populare because of the placement of the main power location, but it's there for a reason, the board is a hell of an overclocker for the price. Sure, other boards place them out of the way, but they don't overclock as well or cost a helluva lot more if they do.Quote:

Well here is the official response I got to why my order was "cancelled but not cancelled".
I guess we will see what happens.Quote:
Hi Jared:
I checked our warehouse that find out the what happened. The inventory make some mistake that put the wrong label on this motherboard so all the orders of DFI motherboard cancelled today and will be re-label and re-ship tomorrow. We are thank you for your patience regarding this matter.

Wow how much of a smart    can people be? Actually if you read my posts, I have repeatedly said that I am not getting my hopes up and just post to keep everyone up to date on what they are saying. Since you probably have not ordered/preordered one you don't have a clue. This is what they are actually saying for the others who are interested:Quote:

Seeing a working shipping number would look so good right about now.
He should be getting his either right before me or around the same time. Last time I checked, we were looking at an eta of mid->late next week, but plans may change since Oskar's feeling a little under the weather in recent days......Quote:

.......anyways really looking forward to seeing this board in hands of some of those guys :toast:
wow - been out of the loop for a bit with work. So , does anyone have their expert board yet? Looks like there was a delay... is that because of the nforce4 bug? I saw that on the XS main page... I had my RAID0 crash from that bug I think... ripping tons of DVDs, I had lots of 1gig files... I rebooted after a crash while ripping a DVD and my root partition was unreadable... doh! no more RAID0 on the OS drive for me... sorry, OT tangent.
Anyways, I am still hoping to get the expert board in November, dep on avail. :)
mastered the english language?Quote:

Let me restate it, I have repeatedly said that I am not getting my hopes up and don't look forward to receiving it anytime soon. I just post to let people know what NCIX is stating since even you proved my point. In that, you didn't know what NCIX was saying about the stock or shipping of the boards. I have been around a while as a long time lurker and registered to get some feedback on some items. Just because my post count is not as high as yours doesn't mean that I don't know who certain people are especially since they usually say who they are in their sigs.
