try again with unigine heaven benchmark with 1000 core. my guess is, you wont pass.

my EVGA 580's on SLI open case dont go above 60C with a high ambient temp of 27C and its using 77% of each on BF3 maxed out 1920x1080, i just have a custom fan profile and a fan blowing to them

Hi Guys

I have the MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC card. Great card but i've just have a few issues.
First off, my card gets very hot when playing BF3. My card reaches 92 Celsius easy with fan ramped to 85%

Def clocks is Core 800 and Mem 2048. GPU Voltage is 1025.
I see my cards fan speed only goes up to 85% in MSI Afterburner. Can anyone else with this card confirm?

yeah mate all are like that u have to flash bios and unlock it, in my case EVGA has a fan unlocker tool wich is a flash to the bios...

u have to save your actual bios, and then use bios editor move slide to 100% save and flash the card

Looks good! Its temperature are normal (for sli so good), but vgpu 1.075 it not too most that vgpu1.175V )

but keep in mind that my cards are BOTH vid 1v wich is very low and they heat up easy, its like CPU's the less vid the more heat

i just got one too
my solution was simple
slapped a block on her
ran kombustor n doin 30c lol

Ja, i wish i had a block for this card. It gets frikken hot!.

I saved my Bios using GPU-Z. I tried using Nibitor to save bios but it doesn't detect it.
I tried to edit the bios but can't change any sliders?

What app are you guys using to edit bios.

Mate, you were right. With Afterburner kernel mode on I solved all my problems (random hard GPU crash).

Stay away from Asus Smartdoctor or Asus GPU Tweak please!!!

After you saved the bios with GPU-Z you have to change the extension from BIN to ROM. After you open the bios with Nibitor you go to tools to change values on clocks and voltages.

Saved bios with gpu-z. edit with nibitor v6.03 then flash in DOS mode with nvflash on a bootable usb

Nibitor doesn't seem to read my BIOS correctly.

Need to go into fermi clocks and fermi voltages area. They are domains not voltage settings like old school cards.

I have the DCU2 also. I didnt like the idea of the cooler taking up 3 slots, but after seeing how well it cools, I could care less how many slots it uses. Best air cooler I have used. TR

how is it gamming ? as ATI always score way better on benches
my 580 OC'd pumps 9k...yours 12k thats quite a HUGHE dif

VERY impressive cooler, Best single card I have ever owned. I have an itch for something red though. TR
