I woulg go for M4E, there's nothing out there showing OC improvements with z68, and that's what this forum is all about right :DQuote:

Dominator gt 2000 c8? I had two kits, one of them could run 2260MHz c8 with 1.65v, but both of them couldn't run 2133mhz on 9-9-9. GTX2 have no problems, running 2133MHz 7-7-6 @ 1.65v.

Well I have the same Dominators as well and on my Asus P67 Del I could not go over 2000MHz bdos like crazy for some reason with that board. I settled with a 1866 with a cas 8 on that board tell I picked up some G SKill 2133MHz cas 7 sticks.Quote:

Bios code seems not optimised on the ahum lower end boards with Hypers... Everything works fine with the ES CPU, put in a retail on eg the Dlx and it goes nuts over 1900ish... this with Hypers... M4E works fine with enough ram voltage ( 1.75ish ) and a good Hyper ram kitQuote:

So whats up with Intel's 6gbs contoller?
Looks like my freezing has stopped when there is nothing on controller.
I removed both ssd drives & bam system runs like a top.
Why in older bios do they have control to reduce speed from 6Gbs down to 3Gbs?
Or is it because Intel really never fixed the problem? or just a cheap controller?
Or Asus can't control because of EFI bios?

What is hot-swapping set to? Whichever way it is now set it to the other option for the affected ports. This is the only time I see stuttering from the drives. For my drives the ports need to be set to "Enabled".Quote:

Any words in what were the simptoms for bad B2 chipset ?
