next up some 3dmark
This is my poor little Phenom II X2 555 BE. :D
First of all, a quad:

Second, a bit of overclock at default vcore:

On air. ;)
on AIR qucik with default Vcore :)

Nice results equinox1. What is the CPU temp on the lcd poster during 3d06 (CPU tests) and Cinebench 64-bit?
Ok Folks...
After 2 months of tuning and tweaking with decent water and cheapo Ram I'm
pretty sure I've found my best 24/7 clocks at voltages I feel comfortable with!
I haven't done extensive Prime on it yet, but I'm pretty sure it will handle it.. :p:
I ran a bunch of benchies at these clocks and tried to compact it into a tight SS:
(BTW: this is a FULL Win7 boot with all services running, including 3 heavy duty Side Bar gadgets.)

Most of my settings can be seen in the shot. IMC is @ 1.3v, I tried my best to get it stable @ <1.275 but that seemed to be a limiting factor. 1.3v on the IMC works... :D
I'm REALLY happy with this for my cooling solution!
I'll prime it for an hour or so tommorow, but I'm pretty sure it's stable.
After all those benchies it probably would have failed if it was going too... :D
C3 chips absolutely ROCK! If your in the market for a new Phenom X4 make sure the last number in the product code is an "M" and not an "I" (M=C3)...
Hi guys,
As I see, many people here have 0944APMW which is considered as overall good, right? I have 0945DPAW and seems that it's not quite so good, I can't hit 4.2 for 24/7 Prime stable in any means.
There's a chance I can find 0944APMW, does it worth buying? I should mention that probably will get another one (with different batch) when there's new delivery in Bulgaria.
Hi all!
Been testing a new Phenom 955 today, 0949EPMW and initial findings are good!
3,80Ghz @ 1,376v (Stock)
4,00Ghz @ 1,44v
4,06Ghz @ 1,47v
Testing NB now 2,80Ghz @ 1,35v will post screens when I put both together!
I don't like the voltage it requires for that frequency - 1.57V.
Currently I'm testing the IMC.
2900MHz - 1.275V
3000MHz - 1.375V
3055MHz - 1.45V (max with this board from BIOS)
3068MHz - 1.55V (max from AOD) It doesn't scale up at all anymore, so this is the max for benches in normal ambient temp, maybe more with cold air
Pretty happy with that, it seems to be a good IMC.
I'm testing it with Prime Blend, is it ok?
PS: When I push the other things more (CPU, RAM) I will need some bump in the CPU-NB voltage, but 2900 @ 1.3 - 1.35 should be fine :)
Yeah, that is a very good CPU-NB!
Ok, I'm running Prime atm. Voltages are:
CPU: 1.5625V with drop to 1.54 load
CPU-NB: 1.2875V - had to up it, cause of my ram frequency
RAM: 1.88V
NB: 1.36V
Temps:
Ambient: not sure (i have no thermometer, but it should be 20+)
max CPU: 43
max cores: 49
Not bad at all, but I gained only 100MHz for 24/7, compared to my unlocked 550.

If I would like to get to 4 ghz on all core OC.
Watercooled
Would the phenom II 965 125w could be a good bet? (matched with good memory!)
Tempting...
maybe this will help you decide :p:
