Regards the heater. I'm lead to believe the due point is 23c here in Thailand. The control panel over the last couple of days had managed to switch off my heaters for some reason. Only found out today.
As a result the condensation has been a nightmare to keep under control.
Therefore no heating pad isn't really an option here for 24/7. A shame, because it looks like a decent board.

so when i try to install Windows vista x64 i get no harddrive detection - > ofc this is normal cuse i made a raid 0 array and it asks me to install drivers.
I put in the driver cd from asus and navigate to drivers and to the raid directory go to 64 bit and i get one driver listed i sellect this one and the windows installation says that he cannot install the driverOo.
Which drivers did you use to setup your raid 0 config?

Guys, carefull with failed oc, i have a failed oc and when i went to bios my cpu was at 1,9v :eek: i left it at 1,5v with bios 403, some other voltages where also diferente from the ones i left.

well the problem seems the be my cd/dvd drive and i cannot find any drivers that would fit the sata controller to use my cd/dvd drive while installing

Well it seems to be my dvd drive nec ad7191s. Alot of people experience problems when trying to install w vista x64 bit with nec's dvd drives.

Some good news, i emailed Eddy from EK waterblocks and he told me they will make a waterblock to replace that fusion block!
Guys... i need some support, i'm staring at a grey box with a bullet hole that screams Rampage Extreme at me all day long...next to it is a small box with a crossbow backplate, anxiously waiting to be mounted.
I was checking HWbot and out of the top 20 SuperPi 32M scores i think at least 15 were done with this board....
And me?...I have to wait untill my RAM comes in.... :(
a small update on the memory clocks, still nothing higher dual 32M SPi stable but 3D stability has gone up substantially with some more vMCH :up:

Influenced by Bikecop's clean design, I used similar architecture, but with EK blocks used throughout. I also added a few laboratory couplers that allow for quick maintenance of wblocks and service of mobo.

NB VR Waterblock with Compression Fitting
I removed the fitted plate from the stock HPA cooling the NB VR FETS and attached it to the bottom of an EK wblock using Arctic Silver epoxy. I used Arctic Alumina epoxy, in turn, to connect the whole assembly to the NB VR FETS (non-conductive). There was industrial epoxy affixing the plate to the Asus HPA which required sanding to remove. Using progressively finer sand paper, I smoothed the surface of the top of the block where it mates with the EK wblock, forming a wblock 'sandwich.' Previously, the only thing cooling these FETS was the Asus pipe/gas assembly -- no water. The only component wcooled by Asus' stock HPA is the northbridge, itself. The modified EK waterblock includes one 3/8" barb and one, 1/2" compression barb that runs 1/2" Tygon to the two 4870 X2s.

Vega22, thanks. Like I said, full credit for the ingenious design goes to BikeCop. I just made a few tweaks here and there. Wish that I could have used a wblock on the SB, but it obstructed the second 4870 X2.
Maybe I'm getting cynical, but seeing a 30C northbridge temp drop, from 60C at idle to 30C, floored me.

Why did you use one 1/2" compression fitting?
Very nice temps but are you able to remove the block that's cooling the vrm's - ever?
@Mezzro...that is looking very nice. both of you guys did a great job on the NB PWM heat sink. something tells me there will be a heatsink made like that soon enough ;)

And the memory compatibility need to grow like 280% :mad:
I got 2 sets off OCZ mem's and whit these, the bios can not recognize mine QX9770 and QX6700. So i run it whit mine E6600, and its Freakin BSOD 4 time a day :down:

Use the drivers from the CD, then upgrade later. Upgrade the BIOS to v403. People are having mixed results with 404.Quote:

i have read some where in my quest for a good DDR3 module that the reason for the poor compatibility for the DDR3 modules is because manufacturers are building their modules out of specification I ask a little so far no reply yet.
