^^ big 10-4 on that.
Oh since this is the official harrassment thread -
Thought I would let all you slackers know that I hit my first ever 3,000+ point day today. Five WUs. If my plan for global domination continues unabated, then I will be crossing into the team top 100 here within the next few days....
MUWAHAHAHAHAA
:bounces:
What's the deal with Fahmon? On the SMP rig it works fine, but whenever i run console clients it goes berserk. ETA: 4971D  of course i just check the percentage in the log.
BTW: Martin...
...I could go the Futuremark heaquarters (few kilometres from my place), the finnish one where their origins are, and spread there fair amount flyers and put window-stickers to cars of the staff... saying something like:
Fold for the team 36362, or martians will come to your home :D
I'm just a noob, but this might help:
FahMon Project List Fix
Quote:
If you find that FahMon can't display any data for the project you are currently working on, even after you update the project list, this usually means that either:
The project information isn't on the project list published by Stanford
The project information isn't on the project list now, but has been in the past
Ok its official. Watch out sparky!:fact: :hehe: :hehe:

I just found out yesterday that one of the quads was suck for days at 100% load and 100% done on both clients. WTF! Damn this last client has me really pissed off. I never had any probs really until lately.
Everything *should* be going strong now.
As the Romans used to say "That Sucketh big ....." Twiggy
Two rigs coming online this weekend, another dually for my stats here at XS and one for the Hardware Canucks. I was going to order a quad this week, but that price drop leakage news from Intel dictates I wait a month and get a much nicer quad for the same loot (imo). Lord I'm cheap.
Ha, one-upped you again :D For the moment anyway :p:
Just wait until after this weekend though :wasntme:
or sometime next week as I fiddle around anyway

Well you do have 9 machines. I have a e6300 at stock clock at work a single core am2 and my quad. The am2 is only worth 48 points a day!
Yeah 9 machines... 2 of them are on WCG so make that 7 on F@H. And those 7 are doing about the same as your 3, due to all being single cores except for my main PC vs your quad, dual, and single. Difference is amazing in terms of efficiency on these newer rigs.
Oh, BTW, you one-upped me again!
Well next few week's I won't be posting much. My son is going in for his next surgery. If you want to know more about it check it out here. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ht=baby+phaser
Folders:
for those of you that haven't make sure to sign the guestbook at Baby Calebs site http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/viewHome.do . Good wishes and strong support can mean a lot  and folders stick together.
2long : my thoughts are with your family bud . God Bless.
Oh I forgot about that. Here is the link to his page. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/calebandreae
And thanks UnG!
Do not take this like twisting tha dagger... probably know yourself already ~instabilities (&trashing) :(
Oh well... lost too one wu today :shakes: SMP worked fine all the time last year, but now  Maybe have to rethink ~double smp instances on one machine.
@2long4u: Sorry to hear mate... slipped my eyes this situation of your family... but now, I wish all the best for you and to your son. Do not know what else I could say :( Take care.
remember ev1, the SMP client is a beta client and does require babysitting.
Yes you're right... but behavior is exactly opposite...
...I mean, when I touch it she screams and poops the wu
(ctrl+c, to be exact, is a way to trash a wu... oh well, I can live with this, if Stanford can )
My poor workaround probably is to keep that quad untouched= utterly dedicated
I actually have no problems closing the client on XP (running one rig as console one as service)
flags are -forceasm -advmethods -verbosity 9
that's it, it closes and works every time. I have my checkpoints set to 3 minutes.
My problem is: in order to watch tv (digi-tv -tuner box@USB2 port)... I tend to close the other SMP instance.
Now running close to a 3.5GHz/two SMP clients prolly not an good idea at somewhat htpc use (temps are under 45C@100%@24/7 though) ...
...although have to admit I'm glad to drop out watching telly for good. It's not productive in any means as is not trashing wus :)
The SMP client is very well behaved for me usually, can shut it down whenever and never trashes a WU when I do  Let's hope it is the same way once I get my new setup running.
Attention please, while you slept, a noob has entered the [XS] Stanford Folding Team top 100... :D
