Right.

I'm ringing up and cancelling my E6600 with OcUK.

I'm just so f'kin pissed off right now..

1) Taking cash before they even have a prduct
2) charging very high compared (i didn't mind at first but it's another gripe)
3) Saying they'll have them in by July 24th... BULLLLLLLLSHHIT!

I don't want the bloody Heatsink anyway, anyone know where the cheapest OEM's are???? (BTW that is all that the difference is on OEM isn't it??? lol)

OEM = no heatsink, 1 year warranty with vendor
Retail = heatsink, 3 year warranty with Intel

Rather worrying in one way that Novatech has 67 left out of the 100 arriving.. as at least 5 people who have responed to this thread (me included) are in the 33 preorders.

No idea where oem e6600s are. Novatech is your best bet probably though...

I'm just leaving it. I can't be arsed. I know for a fact I'll order from Novatech and be waiting just as long.

I won't be building my rig till end of August (due it's sheer cost), so as long as I have it them. But it's the f;kin principle. I've paid. I want it. Especially as they said 24th July.

Dabs are shipping.

Well mine is now in status allocated, just had to cancel my novatech order as Dabs are Â£20 less. Only found out when was going to cancel my order with Dabs :)

Well my Dabs order still says Awaiting Stock and 5-7 Days, but i only ordered on Monday. Still, it appears they are starting to get them through just like everyone else so i have cancelled my Novatech order and will just wait for my cheap cheap Â£206 Dabs one. Which should be through in the next couple of days if all the other retailers stock messages are to be believed. :)

Had a preorder with them within days of them being first listed, but cancelled I that order a week or less before the price droped to Â£220. Then when the price droped I created a new order and it must of been within the first day (or even hours) of the price droping. I assume I lost my place in the queue when i cancelled the first order so...

Thats not bad at all, only 5 days before me and you've been shipped. I'd imagine i'll be in the next batch they get in then.. can't imagine they had that many orders between us.
