woah.. the gigabyte is 145 ? that sure doesnt look like the 12phase power version.
maybe its just me but the pictures ive seen before sure looked like there were more 'fets that those pictures show.
It's the DS3 not the DQ6.Quote:

You say P5B is available ? I have not seen anything about that (someone have a Deluxe ES, but that's all)
That will be tough Skyline!!! :p:Quote:

Availability will probably vary greatly througout world...;)
I also looked at the list and didn't see the above Junkabyte listed...
Instead these are listed:
# GA-965P-DS4 -P965 - ATX - Available
# GA-965P-DQ6 - P965 - ATX - Available
I don't know if those are available... you would know better!!!
so which board does everyone think is the best to go for? I need to grab one ASAP.
I am not qualified to state which board is "the best" to buy (I dont think anyone is), but I am pretty sure which 975X board that OC's well is the best value by far, at least in AU, and that is the DFI Infinity 975X/G that cost me only $266AU :fact: :slobber: :DQuote:

Infinity is usually a mid tier for DFI. Might work well I dunno. If I had to choose... I would probably go for the Asus. If I had to choose from the CURRENT list available.
but it still seems to have a ton of bios options as shown here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=103025
whats so great about the Asus, and which model?
Thanks.
damn it, the gigabyte -DS3 is so stripped down and still $145... the -DS4 is prolly gonna be like 180 and the -DQ6 200+
BALLS
DQ6 - http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/19645

greed my friend pure and simple greed...
and that board will NEVER sell for that unless they have a bios update or something else that lets it hit 600 FSB.. otherwise its worse than the P5W DH
the last bios update took it to 360 fsb but thats it.
havent seen any new info on it
The DS3 is $275.00 while it sell for $145 on neweggQuote:

Now I know us Aus Money, but it's still a total ripoff.
actually, if you convert currencies and compare prices between stores (that store is pretty overpriced) it looks like the P5B might be around $160. Thats what I'm looking for.
149$ should be the price of the P5B. Maybe a bit more at start (under $170)
this site ask $225us for it :p:
The first company that can put out a board that goes to 400 FSB without a lot of trouble and is under $180 is getting my business. Maybe P5B, maybe not, we'll see :)Quote:
