theres oem e6300 for 185$ at ewiz now
ZipzoomFly now has the E6600 available. They've raised the the price to $379 though. First it was $399 then matched Newegg now raised I guess cause newegg is out of stock. The did however lower the 6400 to $250 down $9 & the 6300 to $200 down $29:)
My fortune-teller just told me that she was seeing lots of instant noodles and Spams in the kitchen for the next 2 months. hmm... I'm not doubting her at all.Quote:

e6400 retail $250 free shipping
e6600 retail $379 free shipping
It looks like there is only 16 or so left at ZZF so you might want to order now if you want one.
out of stock. they say they are in stock on the general page, but after I created an account and tried to get it it told they were all sold out. :( I suck.Quote:

I presume the situation will be all good in 2 weeks ... everyone will be down to $330-$340 range, and there will be plenty of stock. Patience is a virtue ... :)
Clubit had them an hour ago @ 399.00.
Etech4sale anyone used them

Everyone keeps overlooking that TigerDirect has 6600 OEM's in stock for $359. Not the greatest price but if you want one there they are....
Glad I got my order in this morning and already have a tracking number. Will have the 6600 tomorrow and a 6300 on Thursday.
My experience was they say they have stock and then do not when you give them your credit card number...Quote:

Interesting considering the 19th is Saturday & not a normal shipping day. I doubt seriously the egg is paying the extra $ to receive a shipment on Saturday. In any case, orderd mine yesterday, it shipped from TN today. Since I'm in TX I'll have it Thursday. Got to love the free shipping:woot:Quote:

Dear ************,
We regret to inform you that your order (#********) could not be completed.
Though our website may have reflected in-stock status, all items in your order
were not in stock at the actual time your order was to be charged.
Newegg.com targets a 2-day turnaround for all orders; therefore we do not
backorder any items. Your out of stock order was voided, and no charges were
made to your account.
Newegg.com replenishes product stock daily, however manufacturer shortages and
other unforeseen factors may stretch backorder periods at random. The practice
of backordering products opposes the consistent & smooth shopping experience we
strive to deliver at Newegg.com.
If the item you were trying to order comes back in stock at a higher price, feel
free to contact customer service and they will help you attain the price from
your original order. Please have your confirmation emails from your original
order handy. http://www.newegg.com//CustomerService/ContactUs.asp
Thank you for your understanding in this matter, and we hope that you will
consider placing an order with us again when your desired items are back in
stock.
Thank You,
The Newegg.com Team
F*ck you, too, Newegg! :slapass:
Funny shyt! :) :)
You leave work, stop and fill up the car, as you pull out you see the guy acrossed the street is 2 cents cheaper...
Do you turn around and go back to the station and say "F*ck you, too!" :D
I don't think so... But go on and :banana::banana::banana::banana: 'bout these etailers as tomorrow when you need a particular product, you'll probably find the same guy as the best deal in town... :D
well that was bound to happen with all the instock out of stock chaos. I took a chance on etech4sale.com and ordered the asus P5WDH DELUXE. They had it listed for $230 and it cost me $15 to ship usps priority. No place else seems to get them instock but the egg & I missed out yesterday. Besides, they're $269 + shipping. Hope it works out. Conroe weekend for me too:DQuote:

funny. mine shipped today(1030 AM) from tn - no tracking #....
maybe , i should call them and have them remove the charges from my credit card, until i have a tracking number...

Apparently I got free overnight delivery from newegg, it's out for delivery right now. God I love newegg's shipping.
Yeah my buddy also got free overnight on his C2D order.Quote:

When I see it says "Once shipped your order is project to be delivered in 1 business day" I know I'm golden.
Cool thing is, you can see this before having finalized the order.
:D i always get overnight shipping because im in MA and theres a warehouse in NJ hehe
Assuming availability in a specific warehouse. I ordered a 6400 to tide me over and it was shipped from CA. The TN warehouse would have been a lot closer.
6700 back in stock at Newegg.
edit: scratch that they're either all gone or Newegg is screwing around with the search results page again. :(
They are indeed screwing around with the pages probably just to keep more customers on their site; just as someone else mentioned on this forum. And yes, it's been quite annoying for people waiting for E6xxx. :mad:Quote:

Well... this conroe flame has died in me sort of. I've waited for so long that I feel like I could wait a couple of more weeks no problem till the stocks become stable at etailers, and the prices are reduced close to $300:toast:Quote:

They also significantly raised prices on the entire line of Core 2 Duo chips.
My E6400 was just delivered to my house today! :)
Now I have to get home from work to gaze at it's beauty since I still have not made a decision on which affordable board to get. :p:

Maybe he means raised to $300 for the 6400. Thats more likely than getting a 6600 for $300 in a few weeks :slapass:Quote:

why not just order the e6600 from outpost for 319 shipped? Itll ship out on the 21st.. contrary to what the website says. Everyone here is going to be overclocking their cpu's, so the warranty is useless.. and also, who uses a stock HSF?

Is not just about the heat sink and warranty. Retail cpu holds their value better than oem for resale. Of course everybody will be overclocking the retail as well, the warranty is not necessarily useless.Quote:

Tax free and its for real! I ordered this morning, just got tracking # now :)
Edit: They raised the price by $10 (was $359) but still a great deal without tax. And you know how we hate paying tax for every etailers!!

EastLuna, the first e-tailer to ship Core 2 Duo X6800 is showing 5
Retail E6600 for $362 each
.
I ordered their 6700 with 2.99 rush fee and $21 overnight shipping. I'm tired of the waiting game :woot: Its on "step 3" so I'm guessing its a go.

It's taking a lot of self-restraint to wait until the RD600 boards come, I hope it's worth it. :)
C2D prices are starting to hit rock bottom...
ewiz e6300 oem $186
zzf e6300 retail $196
ewiz e6400OEM $240
And that outpost.com E6600 pre-order at $319 is awfully tempting. I will call tommorrow to try to get an eta.
Ewiz are some of the slowest working, and slowest shipping people on earth, just order the stuff you want from a major retailer....
SloWiz <<< Newegg/ZZF
ZZF normally does 2$ 2 day.
Ordered my Asus board on the 15th
Will not arrive till the 23rd. :( 2 day upgrade was 40$+, so I didnt get it...
40$ is what it costs me to ship from the USA to London, its just sad to see that kind of shipping price killing...
My e6600 got shipped today from egg and I will get it monday. Finally after like a month and half I will be able to get my system back in one piece.
E6700 is also in stock at isorm.comQuote:

Have fun. I've been lapping my heatsinks and IHSs for years now and it's usually been good for a 1-3C load temp reduction with no increase in OC potential. I even removed the IHSs from my 1.6A and 1.8A and realized a substantial 3-4C reduction in load temps, but again there was no increase in OC potential.Quote:

6600 should be in today, still waiting for chipset waterblock before I can build the watercooling system (though with the quick disconnects I got from mcmaster I might just build and at the chipset block to the loop later)

I don't think it matters near as much as having a flat surface and good contact. The purpose of the TIM is to fill in the gaps anyway. Remember if you have crappy contact you can easily be seeing 60,70,80+ degrees. The difference between different finishes isn't anywhere near those differences.Quote:
