yep, takes changes to the FIrmware and soldering on a new Cache chip.. but it can be done.. I highly advise against it though ;)

Yes I know, so I said I was comparing apples to oranges. But I don't game 100% of the time, so the overall performance of my comp will be slower since I'll have to run 250 with 3-4-4-8 or maybe a bit lower, but never will be like 260 2-2-2-5.

One thing I'm sure, my next memory purchase will be DDR2. And probably helping a Conroe.

I'm so tired of superheated chips, mems and consequently cases. Anyone want to buy my rig? :D

Looks like kingston are out to brag here without a decnet product. Hopefully these will have more headroom than we think but somehow I doubt it.
