This is most excellent news:D:D:D Thanks for the heads up EQ!
My first venture into NF2 land was kinda lackluster...at best. But somehow I'm thinking this new rev1.2 NF7 will finally steal me away from my trusty KD7-E.
I can be patient a while longer now that I know the board is indeed coming:) Finally....a peice of hardware coming out that I'm excited about and really want. Very cool:D
ahhh! i want one! i got the original NF7-S, it was twiggys :p
i wonder if these will have any Board mods other then bios?
Cuz if thats so then newegg might give them a different cat number so i cant rma mine :|
Can anyone try and ask if the models will be the same physcially?
:)

Would that be Komplett? ;) That's where I'll be ordering from if they've got them at the end of the month. :)Quote:

CAn Anyone confirm this board will have the holes for mounting H2o blocks?
Doesnt the nf7-s have vdd adjustable already. Would seem odd that they would change it. I think the 8rda2+ is going to have this. I guess i have two boards to consider.
Since I'm new here, I'll mention I built my first box in may and want to get into some nice OC action. My 7vrxp does not like to comply. My first build has me second guesing some of my original purchases, only b/c I never thought I'd want to OC. So yeah... this sounds awesome, I see everyone doing vdd mods to get the 8rda+ up to 200fsb, if it's adjustable in bios, with the other nice voltage options, looks like its one of these two boards for me (8RDA2+or new ABIT). I really want to get into this, but volt mods are reserved for a later date. Whats your guys take on the bartons not liking 200fsb? ah nevermind, when they start coming in, I'll make a new thread.
I just found this post after that i had signed upp for an EPOX, I hurried to change, i wish i did the right thing. The internet store (Datorbutiken.com) will have them on monday, thats a good sign, or? Have to be rev1.2!!!!!
Yes the revision 2 of this board will have the 4 mounting holes surrounding the socket, just like the revision 1.1 boards had when they were produced recently.Quote:

The best thing about the newest Abit revision on the Nforce boards will be the increased voltages, which the community has said repeatedly that it wants, and Abit is responding to the market, slowly but surely.
A representative from Abit emailed me today saying that the
BH7 mobo (based on 845PE with 4 phase power) will also become available in another 2-3 weeks as well as the new revision of the Nforce2 boards.
Abit is claiming overclocking ability of over 800 on the FSB and being able to utilized DDR400 memory. I did post this about the BH7 in the Intel forum too, but for those who frequent this one, there's the info.
Hi all !
Are you guys sure the NF7-S with the higher voltage will be called v 1.2 ?
Because i work in a computer store in sweden and today we got the new NF7-S ver 1.2 i haven`t try the mobo so far but i sure will tomorrow. I saw that it had 4 mounting holes but i didn`t bother to check to bios.
I sure hope this is the beauty im looking for but am sceptic : \
Maybe the next rev ? how knows ? you might ask :D
I cannot take it anymore, I am tired o hearing only about ABIT's mobos, so hear :

I'll just keep the rest of the details quiet for a while, I wouldn't want to hurt my relation with EPoX ;)
One more thing
The pcb on our ver 1.2 is not the same as the rev 1.0.
It`s the same collour as the new BH7.
If anyone is interested in the bios options i post them tomorrow.
Btw has anyone tested the new 15 bios for NF7-S ?
Fredd - I believe you are seeing the new board there, suprised it's so fast.
Please do post the new settings for voltages in the BIOS...want to confirm the settings from what I've heard via Abit.
The new BH7 PCB looks pretty good to me! Post some pics up of the new board if you can, thanks!
WxChaser
Belive me i will post som pics of it : )
Im already waiting for tomorrow, i really hope this is the board !!
I feel stupid know when i didn`t test the board right away : (
The pics is up in about 10 hours.
Hmm
Im starting to get confused know, im not really sure it was ver 1.2, because i put it up on the webpage as a vers 1.1 board
( saw that know ).
One thing im sure of that it had 4 mounting holes and another collour in the pcb. Sorry if i missled some of you
My bad : \
ooh well lets se tomorrow : )
You can definitely look on the board and see which revision for us tomorrow, I was really suprised when you said they had it there already, I was thinking a couple more weeks from what my sources at Abit were telling me.
Thanks Fredd, keep us posted.
Nice!
BTW where do you work Fredd?
