Problem is, as FCG has already said, the current 975X motherboards that are out do not support Conroe because of the necessary missing components that Intel themselves have only just recently released the specs of.Quote:

Seems to have about a clock+(600-700Mhz) equivalance to AMD cores from the limited results so far .. nice work :toast:
Conroe XE 3.33 = 4GHz AMD FX60 ?? Happy times ahead for us air cooled folk I think.

Well, there's no point sticking something like that under phase until you know what its capable of under simple air cooling. Only when you hit a barrier do you consider other options - that's imo the best way of overclocking. :)Quote:

13588 puts that setup at the bottom of page 2 on ORB. That's simply incredible. Good luck on the XFire and additional OC. Hope that fsb is up to the task.
