can you put a log with what you removed? and which tweaks you did?
do u think this would be good for gaming? or woudl there need to be different tweaks?
It should work flawlessly with Games but should you have problems with the install or running of a game (minus old DOS games) I would be more than happy to help you get it to work.Quote:

40mb... great! when is it ready to test?
nn_step has a few ppl on it for testing...I've discovered a flaw myself that needs attention..(3Dmark aint working properly)
Primary now though is to get my friggin 7900gt working again...got it a few days and already things are going artefacting and whatnot...even if it's pretty easy to fix the issues I need a working gfx card..:(
I get increasing blue/purple/red dots when doing autodetect with coolbits...and then it hangs.
When running 3Dmark05 it passes all the gfx tests but hangs on the CPU test..
I had the 1.4v but removed it and still the same issues remain...any ideas ppl?
I simply just can't fix that OS if I haven't got a working gfx card..:(
..can it be the PSU?
Stripping OS's is fun, I've used nLite since alpha/beta versions since it's handy and has a lot of stuff for removal anyways and some tweaks too. The one I use now landed on 222MB, no probs and uses less memory and hdd space for sure and maybe give a slight benchmark score boost. Also it makes the OS a bit more secure, thx to harmful services removed that hackers might use. :D
Wow, you guys are really going to town on this. Never actually saw the performance thing @ 0%, or maybe you just opened it?? Either way, great job.
I have skt478 IC7 Max3 board i would love to try your os on. let us know when its ready:)
Im confused, does it work with games or it doesn't work with games? You say it should work flawlessly w/games but you will have problems installing them or running them? (downloading the iso but I want to make sure it will work right.Quote:

Hello
This is my first post on Xtreme :) and i'm loocking for an OS for benchmarks
I will download and try your SO ;)
Best regards :toast:
nn_step i'm sure you can get the memory footprint even smaller. I made quite a few custom XPs for dimes & VMs. They run smoothly with only 64MB of RAM. I guess that a smaller memory footprint would be a benefit to benching?
Well I install the SO on 1 of my particions on my AXP 2800+ Barton and no problems so far :) I install chipset and GPU drivers....no BSOD yet :D lol
I have to install on my Opy ring for real benchmark
Keep up the work :wtf:
No expert here but...Quote:

Sorry I haven't been replying more, the effort going into this must be enourmous, making this for yourself is one thing, making it perfect enough to share with everyone is another and needs some gratitude! Thanks for all the hard work clint and nn_step  :fact:
Downloading @ about 125~130 kb/s, I'll post an HTTP mirror if you don't mind nn_step?
I don't mind at all as long if you give Clint and myself credit for making it and sending me a link..
Anything that helps the perfection of this OS is extremely useful :D
The HTTP site is just for files, no frontpage or anything, and the link would just be for you to add a mirror for.Quote:
