New BIOS for AOpen i975Xa 1.03b( Merom support)

so, if its working perfectly what the max FSB you can get on Merom :p:.

BIOS Flash must be DOS
Just type biosname (.exe)

I am still confused about all this. I had 3 Yonahs ( 4 + 8 stepping ) all hit the same 250FSB wall - which made to pretty sure it was the board. Finally Yonah # 4 hit the FSB wall at 219 FSB - so I guess the first three were just random luck. Now my Merom is hitting only 240 ( obviously with low multi )

Now I have a strong feeling is only CPU related.

MAYBE it's also a multi problem with ES of Dothan / Yonah / Merom cpus

There was already a clock Problem on the 780 ES when a lower multi was run - so looks like across the range of mobiles there is something bugging us.

I still haven't had enough time to properly run the Aopen board and Yonahs - but hopefully there is somewhere a trick to get by...

there are at least 5 people here claiming to have working AOpen/Merom combos @fsb 240 or more and no benches ?

Use crystal cpu

Right now I´m testing Notebook Hardware Control, Version 1.10 Beta03, multi could be changed, VCore I need to see, still in progres...;)

But will also test Crystal CPU...;)

Neither NHC nor Crystal CPU can control the Vcore...:(

I can't get the flash to work for 1.03b. When I type "F" the dos prompt clears and nothing happens. I have a merom and want to play. Can someone please help me :)
