Well, netburst didn't work out as intended, TDP was high even at 65nm. I hope and believe that most 2.4-2.66GHz++ Conroes will do at least 3.5-3.6GHz on air. We'll see said the blind to the deaf.
And BTW: does it make sense that Presler maxed out at 3.8GHz (std. speed) and Conroe's temperarily max is 3.0/3.3GHz? It makes one wonder..

Looks like someone have been sleeping a lot lately. Check the WR thread ;)Quote:

My guess
It might be a Conroe 2.4 @ 333FSB.
My 2.16 @ 2666 333FSB scores 18s pi

umm, yeah about that...?
So how did that overclocking go, 1.136V is an interesting number...
can you post a 32m or ask him to post a 32m superpi run when possible.
:worship: has merom same core?Quote:

In what board are you running that fugger?
the vcore is real? 1.13v  @2.66
yeah, way to be a    and just drop that in there like that with no explanation :p:.
No comment. Check the vcore on the original image in the first post.
BTW, that is not my top speed. :D
Nbench is so owned by Intel now. 2K5 pfft...
What chipset does that board use ?? i975 ? i965 ?Quote:

HC, did not mean to hijack your thread.
In the first image I see one obvious difference in that chip and it is not an ES chip from the CPUID string posted in everest. if it were an ES Merom or Conroe it would have @ 000 and it does say "ES = no"
That might be a very early retail 3Ghz 333FSB chip.
Fugger I know you cant say much, which is sad. But is there any way you could tell us whether this board is currently on the market or not?Quote:

End of June early July. I will ask what the part number will be and permission to say.
Which socket will it be?
Which socket will it be?
Lga775, it says in the screenie
Oh sorry, didn't read properly :( and I still can't see it, or do you refer to your cpu-z shoot? Thought this was Xeon and not Conroe?
Sweet.
/me makes a note in calendar. Less than 90 days :woot:
