Did you make FSB setting change in the default configuration overide section? You also have to set the "do you want to continue" options to yes to turn the changes on, and since you say you only changed one setting and not the "do you want to continue" settings from the default "no" to "yes" it is not set.Quote:

Okay, so which settings EXACTLY do I change? I want to do this from the beginning.
K guys. I'd like to note that I could never get this to work, and it worked when I reverted to BIOS 0908. However, I had to wait a few minutes for it to boot up.
when i "generate media" onto a bootable DOS floppy, these are the only files there - its missing some of the stuff that you have in your screenshot, why is that?

OK, just to make sure:
Using this method I have to put in one particular set of FSB, multiplier and voltage into the BIOS.
Questions:
- do I have to have Windows with any part of this toolkit running afterwards?
- the +/- 30% burn-in still work as before, but now they are based on the new FSB, right?
- it is still +/- 30% only in the BIOS, right?
- it will give me voltage control on non-extreme CPUs, right?
- do I need to close the debug BIOS bridge ("BIOS mod") first?
I just modded myself a bios for my pentium D 805
Set fsb to 800mhz ... burn in to -30% and voltage to 1.45v
then flashed. Had a bit of a panic need to leave it unplugged for a bit b4 it works.
So I can now adjust the burn in from -30 to +30 based on the 800mhz giving me lots of control and yes this is doable from bios! :banana: :banana:
Does that help answer some of your q's?
Also remember to alter the ram settings as the default timmings may be too tight and give you a no boot
also no u dont need to hardbios mod connecting the two things for this to work.

ya, if you short debug points above BIOS CONFIG pins on the board it will unlock all these options in bios and you wont need ITK anymore.
But many people prefer not to solder on their board either due to lack of skills or to avoid voiding warranty on their boards.
Its really your choice. I will be doing mod as i am really sick of making all those changed again and again and flash again and again :P

confusion with the memory timings section there seems to be 2 sets of values ? one for tightest and one for max loosened ??
also if i want default 266fsb do i need to touch system bus frequency override on bios settings > main section or just chipset configuration > default configuration override ?
also after i generate mediate there's only 5 files on my floppy ? doh forgot to make fdd bootable :o
Just set all memory timings to 5 5 5 15, you can manually tighten them up later in the menus.

Been playing with ITK to make custom bioses to flash to. Found out you can only flash to a custom bios if you existing bios is of the same version. Otherwise, at flash time you will get a error message saying 'incorrect reference bios revision'.

Hello i tried this again and got it working but the voltage change that i set does not seam to actually change the cpu voltage from the stock.
I am using speedfan to read the cpu voltage and although i set 1.5 in the itk it is still running at 1.3 acording to speed fan. Who should i beleive? What can i do to make it actually change the voltage?
How do I get higher than 3.74mhz on my Pressler 920?:confused: I can do 3.8ghz easily. I used the latest bios for the motherboard. All I need is 271x14 which is 3.8ghz. I don't see many option after flashing with this method.

well was hopeing it increased mch/fsb voltags a bit LOL notice any voltage changes ?

The ITK does not give you free CPU multipliers on locked CPUs.
I misunderstood that earlier. On the BadAxe you seem to get just a few more timing controls from the ITK compared to the debug bridge mod.
