coz remember how B1 dothans and Celeron-Ms hit a wall at "around" 180 fsb and what raised that wall? your VCCA mod...
EDIT: haha what does :D :toast: mean? :p:
And why's that?......If you boot at - let's say - 200MHz fsb, it doesn't give you the 1:1 devider...?Quote:

Or perhaps a higher fsb...lol..Quote:

the Boards are shipping to the owners in EU atm ;)
My board shipped out yesterday and I should get it tomorrow. I have an QJBP T2400 ES, will let you know how it turns out....
Just curious, but has anyone tried cooling the PLL chip with a small heatsink or a fan blowing over it?
Is there a place/someone from where I could buy an AOpen mobo?......

Well, i just finished reinstalling windows and running some tests....
I have a T2400 ES QJBP Stepping 8 Revision C0
My max speed I can get is 2641MHz @ 240FSB. Board will not boot past that, I have tried loosening timings, as well as 3 other various sticks, so its not memory. I have also tried booting at 240FSB, then using the remote to to oc, but that did no good. Lastly, I used CrystalCPUID to drop the multiplier to 10x, then upped using remote. Got to 243FSB then locked...
Still using the stock cooler at a mere 1.4v. Voltage on either vcore or NB doesnt seem to help get a higher FSB. Chip runs very very cool with the stock cooler, and I have gotten 5s less SuperPI at the same clock vs my Dothan. Very nice, but still want more fsb :)
hrm, i wonder if aopen is reading this as you guys debug their motherboard for them lol
I've checked Vcca on i975Xa-YDG... it's about 1.5V as mentioned on Yonah datasheet.
It looks a typical circuit described on APL1087 datasheet.
I expect that modding to R151 or R154 gives Vcca increase...
...just expectation, so try at your own risk.
Of course I'll try it later.

great,
KYOSEN: Can't wait the result ^^
This is a good news :fact: and I hope that will broke the FSB-wall which I have at 234MHz  .
you have to show this to waus-mod, he should try this, at least before he burns everything :D :D
Does your board go above the 230s?Quote:
