corrected the issue with level 7 drive strength

added .txt file with changelog and file per board explaination

Odd divisor correct is when you use an odd multi on the CPU, it alters the way the ram frequency is generated, so this should give you al another option to get your 2gig kits clocking nice.

yes,148 have the same problem if use x10 multiplier,but with latest official bios 150 divider is ok.

I see 2 options with the same thing(weak 4)

odd divisor,i use 1gb ram and x10 multiplier,it is better enable or disable?

Guys

Odd divisor correct is there to play with, it clocks your ram DOWN a littlle different using an odd cpu ratio. I found it best while using the E die and the 250 ratio as it gave in between 250 and 233 using a 10 multi on the CPU. Kinda contradictive i know but it does weird things that may let you gain a little more speed.

IE it allowed my CPU to clock higher as it slowed my ram a little.

We added this option as write cas was a useless option to have and having
ODC allows for some further tweakage.

I set all that needed setting to allow an easy boot

If I read correctly... Tony has 'edited' the 0406 BIOS a couple times... I am looking for the latest one for an Expert board. Is this the right file?

Ah, I guess these 2 'fixes' were just for the Ultra-D and SLI-D/R... the Expert and Venus verisons of 0406BTA hasn't been edited again...

Tony,

many users reported problems like freezing, sound looping or random reboots with SLI on Expert when using any BIOS newer than 11/02. Do you happen to know if your BIOS has SLI issues too?

Just flashed my SLI-DR and so far I'm loving it... I did notice it sets my VX Gold PC4000 to odd timings by default... 2T and RAS 0

A great addition is the CPU core temp offset as I knew my temps were reported wrong by 4Â°C... I've measured this with a heat gun...

Holy :banana::banana::banana::banana: this BIOS is golden.... It OC's my CPU much better..
I went from 260x10 1.41vc to 270x10 1.44vc with ease... dual priming as I type. I was never really able to go beyond 2.6Ghz unless I really upped the vcore by a large amount...

Temps are pretty good too with temp offset enabled.. I topped at 40Â°C during priming... ambient temps 21Â°C with the case open..

at 1st it can run very well....later the system start unstable and freezed...end up with 4 led light death ....damn

Did you try a full cmos clear? I had this too where it was freezing during post and at one point was just greeted with a solid black screen. A good cmos clear with power cable removed and batter removed seemed to do the trick thank God.

If it worked initially, I doubt a hotflash would help. Sounds like the board died and the fact that you flashed a bios was just a coincidence.
