no, relaxing Trp from 2 to 3 on Infineon ICs doesn't gain anything.

on Infineon, you set Trcd=3 & Trp=2 and no need to touch those timings any more. you just relax Cas latency and play with Vdimm if necessary.

Tony... in this case it seems you are the ones who copy from competitor(s). ;)
