Alright, time for some more action :D

Maybe this RAM is not too bad, after all :lol: :toast: I have added 3 updates to my initial post:

- finally, I got some SPi32M action @ 272Mhz :banana:
- then SPi1M @ 277Mhz - not bad, but not earth-shattering either... :up:
- and slightly better take on 4 DIMMs @ 266MHz :banana:

Heatspreaders are still ON but dogsx2 gave me a GO to pul them off. Apparently (from what Kevin said) it will not void warranty so I might try that tommorow. I kind of doubt it will make any important difference, though ;)

I'm hoping with the HS off you can get to 274-275 but even if you don't get anymore MHz, 272 is pretty good. I knew I asked the right guy to test them. :D Pull out all the tricks in your bag when you take the HS off and show us 274-275:banana:

They always say if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. I stayed on the porch and gave it to the big dog to run with it. Great job. Very.very professional with the pictures and ss. I just knew there was some more in the bag of tricks. Thanks for the hard work.

Eh, come on... Believe me, memory clocking is not a rocket science... It's a method ;) Above 272Mhz I had to resort to "certain performance trick" that I kind of wanted to avoid. I'm pretty sure it will be soon uncovered :D Let's see...

very impressive.Looks like team groups ram has done some action.It is good method in speed-sorting in the Teamgroup module.:banana: .

Are these your bios options for 250 MHz:
1)tREF=?
2)DQS Values = Auto,0?
3)Drive Strength?

Can you 32M with same Voltages for cpu,dimm and:
1)Idle Cycle Limit =16
2)Max Async Latency = 7
3)Drive Strength = Normal
which are common or did you decide to have loose timings for imc in order to run the 32M?

Removing heatspreaders does not always guarantee automatically better clocks. I have done it to all BH-5 I've ever had and nothing exciting came out of it... As you said, you're starting your adventure with high voltage RAM so I forgive you rolling eyes at me :slap: :) Besides, you can't compare RAM that OPB has with the set I'm testing here... :) I can guarantee you that 280MHz is ABSOLUTELY out of reach.

Answers in bold... I can do MAL=7ns but only when divider is not used. I think 277Mhz screen was with MAL=7ns...

Update #5 ;) Not very thrilled about the gains, though...
But I'm happy that at least I managed to up the clock a bit more :)
