Some Vapochill Cooled Kingston HyperX!!

So? Most of us do the same thing with our computers.... we'll volt mod our cards and stick our entire computer outside in the middle of winter just to get a few hundred points higher on 3DMark. It's not like we get a massive FPS gain from doing that, but it's just fun to compete and see how far you can push your system.... I was practically dancing when I got a high enough score to hit the top 5 for 9800 Pro's in 01(with only a voltmod and air cooling). It's not like I gained more than 3-5 fps, but I was proud that the computer that I built was able to compete with the systems of other skilled overclockers.

We didn't really try this for a much better result. We especialy tried it to see if there was anything better with lower temps and how the chips react on this. And 12MHz more is a quite good improvement for memory imo. When you have memory doing 290 on air. Then on PhCh you can get a WR prolly. You wouldn't do it then :confused:

Wow man that's extreme! Nice job with the vapo'd ram cooler :D

I reckon it'd pretty feasible to take a custom ram cooling waterblock and put it in a chilled liquid loop and get some pretty good performance gains.
