I don't understand. ATI could probably produce XTX CF cards, even very limited quantities and very expensive, people WILL buy them just for the sake of a WR...

Its tough not to fall into the benching trap. I added an XT to my cart many times only to close the browser at the very last minute. Its so tempting yet I don't play games any more intensive than Starcraft (best classic game ever).

Updated first post. After 5 hours of fighting 100 points down to 20 and then finally 16 004 points. 16k done :D

Well just remember it was done with the help of a cooling system only usable for short term benching :) I have a feeling it will be 6 or so months before we see a single card able to hit 16k on standard forms of cooling.

Ati's Crossfire always puzzles me, they have made some strange decisions with it to my eyes. Still speedy though.

their is another 'weird' phenomenon on this card, 886Mhz on GPU seemed faster than 891Mhz and equal fast as 895Mhz... tested on 3dmark01/nature

Are you making sure to restart before you run 3dmark again, for some reason if you don't restart your scores seem to go down.

Kinc those are incredible scores im impressed. great job :toast:

I think drivers just need to mature. we will see big improvments in a few months.
