No, I mean load bios setup defaults. I don't really understand. You are changing vcore in bios but it remains the same? What does it show in bios after you save, exit and enter bios again? Old vcore value? What does voltage monitor in bios show?
the setting shows it set as 1.4675v (which is what i have tried to set) but reads 1.34v which is also what DMM readsQuote:

Please post as soon as you get some results. I'm having a p4gpl-x on the hand - can't decide whether to get it or not... If vcore can't change....... :(
omg velzatis, thanks for the info!!!! I flashed to 0205 and its working!!!!!! :D
i set vcore/vdimm etc all to auto before flash btw
edit: pretty sure it is anyway, bios and probe still say 1.34v but my temps have increased a lot so I'm pretty sure it has, I need to measure with DMM but it's too late so i will tomorrow :)
Damn you lucky guy :D
But i increased the voltage in bios to 1,7, then rebooted and entered to the bios and then bios was showing vcore 1,428. The default was 1,328 or smth. After that computer didn`t want to boot anymore, even if all the clocks were default and only vcore was higher. Weird...
lawry, how well does it clock now? How high can you get it?
ok.. actually it didnt work, jus the old bios made temps increase.. :(
grrrr!!!!!!!
malkekoen, I am at 2660, 177x15 atm on stock volts :)
I'll sort this out tomorrow as im on school holidays after tomorrow and will have more time to work stuff out..
i put vcore to 1,7V but bios shows 1,428v. Actually the voltage is higher, cause i got more mhz from my cpu now, but why the hell is it showing this voltage like that?:confused:Quote:

I don't know :( I think we need asus to make a fix for this as it seems to be with quite a few people..Quote:

velzatis, how high do you clock at this point?
hmm, not very high actually. Right now the voltage supposed to be 1,42V (according to the CPU-Z and BIOS). I just did prime95@2600mhz and it gave me an error after 12minutes of testing.Quote:

EDIT2: Ok, it`s now 2:14 AM, time to go to bed :P
I have noticed it reading wrong in the bios sometimes but I am always able to change it. I am using bios 0401. Like I said my problem is always resolved with a reboot.Quote:

I tryed 0401 bios just now, nothing changes, but I still have that weird thing: if I raise my vcore up to 1,7V, then bios says, that it`is 1,42V. CPU-Z is showing same voltage.:confused:Quote:

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you can normally measure the vcore off one of the chokes/coils near the cpu socket (try the leg furthest from the socket). Planning to get one of these boards soon myself, can't you just vcore mod it?Quote:

Have you tried 400 and 533 jumpers on the adapter?
Also when flashing bios this would be advised:
1. Load bios setup defaults
2. flash bios, restart
3. Load bios setup defaults
4. power off, unplug power cable from PSU
5. press power button a few times and then reset cmos
6. plug back your power cable (make sure CMOS jumper is set back otherwise you might kill board)
7. Enter bios and load setup defaults
If after this you can't cahnge vcore then I say either your board is faulty or adapter.
Try P4 cpu if you have it.
im using no jumpers because i have vcca modQuote:

atleast this gets me to around 2.8 :)
havn't tried rebooting yet, but running windows fine atm @ 185 fsb, gonna run some OCCT and try to push higher, still though, I would like to get this thing sorted out properly...
