I have one of each sitting here waiting to get a new motherboard in my hands.Quote:

LDBHE was purchased in a combo at local Fry's, and came with a junk ECS/VIA board.
Now, which motherboard to get to wring these puppies out on water??
sapphire pure innovation.......
My vote goes for LDBHE. As for which board what are your needs in a board and what ram are will you be running?Quote:

Core 1 dies on me around 2940 upto 1.65v. Im going to back it down to 2850 1.5v for 24/7 gaming now. I'm pretty happy with this chip.
try this place :) http://www.atacom.com/program/print_...BA9_ATIX_SF_00Quote:

I will try some overclocking tonight with my 2006 model. See if there is a big difference :nono:
Just gotten home and now priming at 2350 @ stock voltage. Keep you informed temp 43 with boxed and 120 mm fan blowing over the boxed.
Mmmm, at 2400 mhz one core crashes :( :slapass: So probabely 2350 prime stable. Now trying with 1.45 volt 2500 mhz. Seems stable at the moment @48/50 degrees.
This chip stinks. Not stable at 2350 @ stock voltage. And not stable at 2600 @ 1.55 volt :(
Just installed my new 3800+ LDBHE 0601TMPW ..
At first I thought it was a real dud. It crapped out at 2250Mhz even if I upped the vcore to 1.4 ... but then I set RAM 1:1 instead of 166div .. and now im priming @ 2620Mhz 1.4v ..
I have no idea how it OC´s at stock vcore as I never dropped down to 1.3v after the RAM problem .. but I´ll update my post with SC and new results in the morning.
Seems like an OK CPU.
My finger has an itch tho... and the Opty 170 in stock at Komplett.no is the way to scratch it me thinks :D
EDIT: 2700Mhz 1.42v .. prime running for 10min .. so far so good. SC coming up .. after some sleep.
EDIT2: Now I really need to go to bed ... its way past my bedtime :P
Just a quick SC .. Im gonna let prime do its thing over "night" ..
Not too bad considering the voltage .. 1.42v. Im not even sure this is max .. diddnt try any higher yet.

No my cpu has no cldbug for whoever asked earlier.....O and on a cruddy mach 1 its benchstable in 3d at 3129.....so far. still has room for tweaks.
Nice :)
3800 X2 LDBHE 0601 VPMW
Ok just got this new stepping chip and ive got it prime stable at 2.7Ghz on Air with 1.48v.
Post results Soon as Still testing.:toast:
While I was asleep SP2004 did its thing ...
Im really starting to like this CPU :)
Still the 3800+ LDBHE 0601TMPW with 1.42v and cooled by TT BigTyphoon.

PS: Right now im testing 2850Mhz 1.42v ... looking good so far.
3800 X2 LDBHE 0601 VPMW
2.7Ghz 1.48v.
Ive not tried 2.8 so ill update soon.

Put some cold on that chip.........Mine is 3 gig stable and benchable beyond...Id post screenies but only if you ask as its not my thread....I hate that when someone does that in a thread i make.........
That LDBHE looks like a great chip Sloppy.
My bad i never meant to be rude posting screenies. Sorry Sloppy.Quote:

No sweat guys, post anything you want :)
In comparison to your cpu's mine is really crappy :( But for 225 euro is a bargin if the lowest price in stores is 300 euros here in the Netherlands.
A friend of mine allready tried it with better aircooling and could push about 2800 mhz with 1.65 volt. So maybe on water this chip will still run 2900 mhz. I will keep you guys informed.
But if I can buy a LDBHE here I will quickly change :)
LDBHE 0601.
Poped it in my DFI +water cooling and it booted at 2.9Ghz altho needed 1.6v. I only ran Prime for around 5mins as was busy and it was ok. Ill try more testing latter.
P.S. I think its time i got Phase Cooling:cool:
And on phase you can expect this with LDBHE.
http://members.cox.net/wmdieselmc26/infineonBE-6.jpg
And 3d stable :) with a cpu-z just in case you didnt belive prime in above pic.....

wonderfull. now how do these do on ln2 :D
hehe, it makes me curious too :) Somebody put the LN2 on it :D
I will make my WC ready for S939 and post new results this week. Hopefully 2.9 ghz is doable.
Chew,
Awsome Results. I got lucky getting a LDBHE stepping. So Phase is my next step. Once i get the ££ ill be getting one then.
1.7v, is that the required voltage mate for 3Ghz. 47hr priming mate credit due. :toast:
1.6 volts for 47 hour prime, thats my everyday speed. I bench around 3129 atm. The sapphire innovation reports voltage the same regardelss of undervolt or overvolt. Its a known bug with cpu-z with that board.
