yes this is hand pick 2gbhz from around 15 pairs
the average of this should be around 260~280 with active cool even better!
lower voltage 2.6v is good already, adding more voltage is no good at lease you see significant MHz imporveing

well, if using handpicked modules, it isn't exactly a fair test to put forward, is it?
I mean, we as consumers never get the chance to handpick our own modules.
Active cooling? but these sticks are not warm at all, and I haven't tried more than 2.66 vdimm on them anyway....
It jjust really sucks having the second pair of 2 X 1 Gb sticks not even come close to 280 :(
It is not very hidden that some of the results presented here are from slightly (or less slightly) picked sets.Quote:

For what it's worth, I got a HZ kit normally off newegg and it goes pretty well, 270 MHz. One stick is weaker but I haven't bothered looking where the better one goes.
That is common. Everytime I give somebody with same board and memory A64tweaker values the result is a such a violent crash that a CMOS clear is needed even on the DFI boards.Quote:
Also, how come some values will work in A64Tweaker, but pc won't boot with the same values entered in BIOS?
Many of the A64tweaker values are mostly dependent on the CPU's memory controller, that's probably the reason.
This should be the first line of all your OC results threads. It should be in bold and a large font so everyone can seeQuote:

That said, i cant get mine stable above 270 to save my life either... a shame too since my beautiful CPU hits 285 on air without sneezin'! ahh, oh well... life goes on! When they come out with DDR600 2GB sets, it will be allllll good for everyone!
NOTE: this is my attempt to push Gskill into releasing some DDR600 2GB kits ASAP! Take the hint and get us some supersticks man! lol...
oh come on, you mean to tell me that the engineers at Gskill cant explain why 3684 works best? lol... i figured if anyone would know the deal with TREF, it would be you guys! sheesh...Quote:
