Hows it going kp, im want to see them :D
lets see some more!!!
hey man i meant in this case that block is so small that will only add some fkn work, i know that you achieve more mhz that's good for sure, but is better to solder a little tube on that miniblock at least...Quote:

Gonna install some bead probes in a bit then start testing. I'm hoping these things take it to another level....if not back to the drawing board. I worked hard on the design and getting as much mass as possible "between the cards".
They look real nice!!:slobber:
Tek-9 seems to suit these babies! Let see how they perform.:)
Those are damn sexy. I also love the universal holddown mechanism :)
Those are so sweet. Great job V..... :)
@ kingpin:
Those containers are a real work of art!
But how are you going to insulate them ?:p:
mhh i'd like to see those baby's in action for sure!
i smell orbcrushing soon :toast:
GO KP:woot:
Wow :slobber: Can't wait to see them run!
dam .. nice units you got there..
inside pics?

So far so good. One of the pots is kicking the bloody hell out of one of my gtx's in 01' 829+/2171. It wasnt that difficult to insulate at all, I just used wrap. Works good enough and still fits in the middle card.
Here is a pic of the temp probes in place thermaled in.

the finished gpu-units looks great!
is the nb-block ready?
Wow those are gorgeous. Incredible work and I cannot wait to see the NB and then the results.
wow very nice looking pots, would like to see the nb pot
how do u work around gpu coldbugs?
Any frosty pics yet?
Wow... truly a work of art kp... want to see the action :)
Got both pots insulated now and test-fitted on the expert and everything fits great. As soon as I am done farking around with this dothan in 01', it's back to SLI rig for some more 06,05,and 03. That will be the true test as 01' is the easiest on hardware.Quote:

But I asume your way of mounting it won't do any problem, most units are mounted that way. But it would be cool to see other ways of mouting a gpu-unit.
Just an idea.
But as always stunning work kinping. And I hope the new unit will give you great number
And can we have a look at the inside when you have testet the unit? :D
This was actually my very first idea on how to mount. I was going to cut grooves in the backside of containers for brackets to lock on to. Prolly much more stable mount this way...but there are insulation issues this way as well.
What I thought was my best idea for mounting I may use on the next set I do. It involved a clip style mount.
For this set, I knew the metal bracket would be easy to do and give me the best possible contact/pressure on the die that I would need so I went that route for the first set.
These Look very professional, should do some serious damage with those beauties KP :toast:
Any plans for a CF setup.
Really nice gpu tubes there Kingpin. Cant wait for some serious orb crushing. Do u have 2 good 7800gtx's now (before I think u said you had 1 good and 1 ok one). When is that 4ghz 3d01 run coming?
Those look awesome KP, I can't wait to see pics of them mounted up (too some X1900s :)).
I LOVE the name too.
ANy insulation or ice shots yet?
