Yes, im aware they have a road map, but would this be the reason they didnt release it? The silicon was ready for retail as there seems to be quite a few 0536's knocking around.
Then we see a 10 week gap (going by the results of this thread) before the next silicon is produced, anyone care to stipulate why? Has anyone spotted, FX-60 stepping on a X2/Opteron duallie CPU?
guess2098,
think its far to say tht with the lower voltage, AMD are producing better silicon :), hopefully this will be seen in better IMC and less cold bug issues (discussion on this would be too off-topic). As eva2000 mentioned, FX-60 CPU's produced in 2006 will be a very interesting item for us to see.
11/14 bios.....Evap. temp.@-33C is the sweet spot..

Past 3.5 Ghz on a dual core, good work Dumo.
Thanks Absolute.....gotta keep this cpu busy above -36C evap. temp @>230htt.
@Dumo: What's the max voltage you've run through your 60 and do you run 1.68 regularly or just for benching? What are your idle and load temps like with that much voltage?
@stephen: What are you cooking up?
Kyle, I set 1.525X113% (just for benching) in bios and Vapo evap. with fluke dt shows -28C load....idle reached -36 and it froze..
What kind of volts are you running for 24/7 on your vapo? I should have a UEI DT200 hopefully tomorrow or the next day and then we can accurately compare temps b/c my smartguardian is showing positive temps under load. Is your vapo modded?
Its stock vapo. When you ran long benches the SG probly hit 255 and went to + temp.Quote:

So far I've only benched and I guess I will probably just go stock for gaming, etc. What's your opinion on this?
I'm going to try to run these volts when I get my vapo back up and running to see what they will give. I hope it's a fuse (I've only had it for a week).
