Opteron 146 & 402XTREME = P95 @3500MHz, SPi32M @3594MHz, 3D @35xxMHz!!! - UPDATED!

I think it is... Coop had his 148 up to 3564Mhz on DI (and Weee @ 3554Mhz on Jin's phase) but I'm sure he could squeze a bit more. I can *almost* finish 32M @ 3600Mhz (it goes thru 16 passes and then craps out :() so maybe there some more steam left in there :) Ah, 3530Mhz fir 3DMark2001 seems to be max. I can actually run it pass 6 first tests @ 3560MHz but It hard-locks right after Nature fades in... It might need some tweaking but I'm sending this card out today or tommorow so I will not find out...

I have two OS installs on my HDD. One is Server (benching with "multi-tweak") and other is regular WinXP. In WinXP @ 3500Mhz @ 1.65v MBM shows -27C IDLE. BIOS temp at same settings is -23C.

Well, actually that's the 3rd (or 4th) 7800GTX 512MB I had sent to me for vmodding in the past 2 months. This one is the last for now as I really don't have enough time and energy and to do it :p
Thanks for the offer, man!... I'm gonna try it on my own first as I have a feeling this chip won't go very far under ~40C BIOS temp (maybe another 100MHz, If lucky) :shrug: I don't want to waste other people's time in case I'm right ;)

I have to use it or otherwise I can't boot to Windows at above 350HTT and low temps. I have actually run 16M on this chip up to 386x9 so far. I bootet to Windows at that 386x9... And like Yotomeczek said, it's more of the CPU thing than mobo. My SD 3700+ have not seen that type of HTT in its whole air/phase/DI life!
System is not under load per se (CPU usage is 0%) but temps are shooting up like it was. It's even a bit hotter on IDLE that LOAD. I see about 1C drop from IDLE to LOAD :D Neat, eh?

3.45ghz 1.9V window temp under 8m/3d load: -11C smartguardian, -62C tube base.

The temps shoot to -62C in a few seconds then don't budge, unlike phase. And that's the 2.25" aluminum cooler. I haven't figured out how to get a thermocouple into the 3" yet without drilling through the angled base.
Isn't that cooler one compressor as well? I remember chilly1 hitting -100C unloaded then doing -60C loaded or so. How did he drop it another 60C? And his 2 stage cascades don't even do -100c loaded AFAIK.

Yeah shimm I had way to many chips so I had to get rid on some. I sent him my opty 150 first but it was way to hot for a SS. So I told him I would send him that 146 cuz the 148 I have has a coldbug but runs 3.2ghz on water.:)

~-67 LOADED temps. There's only one like it in this world - One compressor, 6 stages, and 14 gasses:

Well, for that I will need 2x512MB BH-5 as all my TCCD is giving me a headache on div166, past 350HTT. I just can't pass 32M with any memory I have here, on div166. I have 2 TCCD kits that do DDR600 6-3-3-2.5-1T div200, but not with div166 on this Opty, past DDR580... Odd as hell. So, I'm now looking around for 1GB BH-5 to run on div150. And then, 3.6Ghz 32M, here I come :lol:

It was already mentioned by my Polish "Tweakers" that AiBench is some cool little bench written by a dwaIP that simulates a game of Go-Go played by two AIs. I like this bench, it's just fun. I did a 3613MHz run with it...

Bachus> From what I've tested, the higher you clock and the colder you get, the harder it is to use super tight mem timings or clock the mem very high. BH5 will be killer for your setup :)
