This is same Toledo core as other X2's, but with CCB2E.
I believe Jason did 3.387 with an X2 4800 with no cold bug. ;)
I've seen 3520MHz (16x220) to pass 3DMark05 at -40C and 1.62V.. :)
got any links:D
sounds sweet :slobber:Quote:

@macci,
Can you show us those results you've seen, please? ;)
Looks good Kyosen! I hope with more time you can figure out your optimal temps and vcore and if you need to run something like SP2004 to load the CPU and hit 3.5+.
Jason is up around 3.5ghz as well, with like 1.75vcore and no cold bug. He should be able to do 3.5 3d easily once he gets a copper cooler and kicks the volts up. AMD clocking is all about how lucky you are with the cold bug on your chip, sadly :( For all we know Kyosen could be at 3.6ghz 3d if he bought another FX60 and got lucky with a cold bug around -100c or lower.
From what I've noticed all cores with a stepping taht ends 2E are not cold friendly.Quote:

Hehehe....this is the little brother of OPB's monster 4600+. His cpu and this one are the only 2 x2's I've ever seen that have been able to withstand -100C temps without any problems at all:

stephen>Who owns that CPU? -98C software reading seems a bit off...
why would you say that? Smartguardian agrees with the temps......This is the work of Mikeguava and a lot of LN2 ;)Quote:

What stepping stephen?
That is cold..-90 does correspond to 166 in SG. exactly
From the one and only Jason 'MickeyMouse'
MickeyMouse takes WR A64 Dualcore 'Consecutive' 8m/8m Run!
Why run Super Pi with a Dualcore cpu if you don't do it right.
Two cores means 2 seperate Super Pi's need to be run at the same time to fully load the cpu.

Very nice. I will be getting my FX60 on Friday or Saturday....hope to get a good stepping that will allow 3-3.1ghz on water. Then will be trying it on a modded LS (15-20c colder than stock vapo LS)
wow this fx really sucks ...... my 170 does ~ 2920 3m stable with wc & hs
Do you think fx60 can handle -20C or -30C for 24/7 use
kyosen, why did you run 3DMark with CPU tests disabled?
Jesus, your vid cards are insane.
When was the FX60 launched?
They aren't needed to produce a score so no one runs them.Quote:
