Score: 26.890*3000.8/2000 = 40.345756
Opteron 146 - UTT-BH
The Vcore was set a little bit higher than necessary ;)

don, looking at the score and that you have the CPUZ memory page open, I will put it up. but if you can better your score, make sure to put the a64 tweaker shot on there.
29.937*2805/2000=41.98
This is hard for us tccd guys. Funkflix, those are some great timings at that speed:toast:

Maxxx how did you get to that formula?!?....what does value 2000 represent?
also this will lean heavily with people that have top notch RAM........looks at my pair of G.Skill LE's that go to 280 2.5-3-3-x :(
my score: 41.044

Dinoss, 2000 is an arbitrary number, though I made it low enough so that it doesnt favor lower clocked CPU's too heavily. 3000 would end up in users with higher mhz having scores there were too high.
And yes, this test is essentially about how well you can tweak your system, and that includes RAM. Snice the CPU MHz is made equal in the test, the RAM and OS tweaking is where it comes down to. Anyone can get high mhz with a good cpu and cooling, but the real challenge is tweaking the OS and RAM to the limit..
anyway, 41 isnt bad at all. And if you look, my score is on TCCD and so is bachus' score.
Maxxx..........you should probably ask people to post it in format you are using on first for easy copy and paste.......here is mine in that format
41.044 --- dinos22 ------------- Opteron 144
WIll try for better later, but here's one i have sitting around from when i was testing out my BH-5
40.857 --- T_M ------------- Opteron 146
Dinos, thanks for the advice. Will ad that rule.
Hi Max!
Here is mine with the link fixed :)
40.345 --- corvus_corax ------- Opteron 146
Opteron 148 @ 3413mhz, TCCD 310mhz 2.5-4-3-7
24.578x3413/2000= 41.942
methinks the ram could do with some tighter timings...

41.94770275 ----|3ourne ---- Opteron 150 CABGE ( I have a better stepping 146 which Ill swap tomorrow and give you a score for )
interesting
40.820 --- eva2000 ------------- Opteron 170
For now...with my 'not so good as everyone elses' TCCD mem :(
40.897 --- farooqm ------------- Opteron 146
Maxxx....while you're right I do have an X2 4400+ (in fact, that's ALL I have right now :D), my run was with an Opty 146 I had back in the day of CABNE :D
My X2 is pulling better results though (on a less tweaked, lower mem-speed run too :D), I just want to break into the low 40s before I resubmit :D
Here is my opty 146 with TCCD ram - and they actually suck bigtime :(
26,969*3108,3/2000 = 41,91387135

37,344*2673/2000 = 49,91....
it seems to me from initial results over at OCAU that lower MHz on CPU will produce BEST results indicating a slight bias in the formula i think ...............if so we should play more with 2000 value and restrict the MHz to max 300-400MHz difference.....i.e. 2500-2900 for example...........can people that ran their results past 3GHz go back and do 2.4/2.5GHz runs and see what happens

well yeah i think the formula is NOT good

not bad for tccd+ 512KB core? :)
Hello, at work so don't have a score yet, Although I was thinking, this is a great idea, but does heavily favor 1mb cores over 512k maybe we should have 2 lists for the cache size? Great job!
Did a nice run with Opteron 146. Too bad that cpu-z didn´t work :(

MaxxxRacer: funkflix time is wrong or then my calculator is cheating. Isn´t 26.766 * 3000.6 / 2000 = 40.157 ?
here is another one from APCD..............obviously the formula is out

yeap thats what i brought up at OCAU but different people will have their max RAM speed on various times so not everyone will be happy........Quote:
