anyways I'm looking for some memory settings to try with 2x 1GB sticks of corsair value ram (samsung UCCC ) this ram was rock solid @ 255MHz in the DFI but I can't seem to get them above 240MHz in the ASUS?????? T2 and T1 setting don't help the only setting I set manualy are the standard 3.0, 3, 4, 8. the rest are set for AUTO... if anyone can offer me some help to get to 250MHz it would be greatly apreciated :)
weird ill stay with this
Out of curiosity, does the underside of the board look clean, is there maybe something on it that looks like fluid residue?Quote:

No didn't see any residue? top of board was black, underside was dark green, with a foam pad on the back of the DIMM sockets.
I may have sorted the ram OC by just changing the ram out to different DIMM sockets, will have to do a bit more testing on that though.
Some thing strange I noticed was that windows would fail to boot if I disabled both gigabit lans in the bios.... it would only boot if i left the nvidia one enabled... ????
Overall I'm quite happy with th A8N32 just need to get my head around the AMI bios and work out the mem settings.
Does anyone know the problem when using nvidia raid and silicon image's been fixed? I've 4 hdds on nvidia Raid0 and WD250GB on silicon image as the sata drive. I've got BSOD from times to times. With Bios 1025,I can't load windows. With 1103 i've got "...not APIC compatible..."
Thanks
