damn, i just bought a connect3d, i didnt realize that the new ones werent unlocking... not to mention the gto2 price dropped $40, i might just send her back.

The only gto that currently unlocks and overclocks without fail is the GTO2, the C3D gto is a risky investment. If this is less than $200 w/ vivo and a good bundle, i'll be giving it serious consideration.

i got my gto unlocked and i can run 540/540 stable, for about an hour. my core reaches 73+*C and it starts to get funky. ordering an arctic cooling vga silencer sometime soon

im looking at it now on newegg...as im considering selling my current rig and building another( half because im bored and half because if I sell my PC for about a grand I can build a new one with 2 gigs of ram and this card which will probably be faster then my x800xl ). So anyway...If this unlocks to 16 pipes...good deal no? Or is there something thats alot better at this price point?

This IS a 16 pipe card and exactly like your X800XL...the X800GTO2 is the one that'll give you a boost.

Looking at newegg for this card...found this x1600xt in the powercolor store for $179: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131317 Isnt the x1600xt a better card than this? 12pipes x 600mhz beats 16x400 last time i checked...and 1.4ghz on the ram :eek:
edit: :banana::banana::banana::banana:...didnt realize its 128-bit. which cards better?

GTO. You can OC the average GTO to at LEAST 520/520.
