Yeah I think this is related to VPU recover and overheating protection. Thing must be going nuts trying to deal with negative values ha.

I have no idea if this helps but you could try this:
start-->run-->cmd--> "shutdown /a"
Type this when the system is shutting down.

i wil try this with my x1800xt this weekend. The card did 750/885 stock cooler an gave me about 46k in 01. Lets hope it kan handle som serius coldnes :)
