Yeah, 32M would definitely be better suited for that kind of test.Quote:

how long till they hit retail ?
A few places are taking pre-order. If I'm not mistaken I saw the ETA as Dec 12th.Quote:

so i think the true very-overclockable REV E4 is those wif steppnig CABNE or other CABxx stepping
They are available in Hong Kong, someone bought CG core. :D

look at the newer CG revision
it's manchester core ! hopefully not program error .. :P
hmm I am wondering how well these will overclock over my current 2.8 3000+ winnie. I wanted to get an opty, but maybe these will be more worth the wait?
Oh nice.I hope OC to 3GHz on air.
np..the E4 version seems not overclockable than any current venice revision...it's juz a cutdown ( disabled sec core ) of manchester....dissapointed
About 2 weeks ago I changed my Venice 3200 for a "Venice" 3500.
I really wondered why CPU-Z and some other programs didn't recognize it completely.
Until I found another program, GCPUID, which showed "Manchester"

And even the idle temperature is 7-8 degrees Celsius higher with this 3500 (38°C), than my previous 3200 (30°C)... what I think, should confirm ozzimark thougts about "the disabled transistors still get voltage".
