how much did it cost? I'd love to try dry ice but I dont have too much money...
He told me the CPU tube is about U$180. That includes insulation and everything. Anyways send him a mail he has the prices. Our prices are preferentials because we beta test his pre production models.Quote:

Sorry,...I'm not trying to be a jerk here....just trying to figure out why you got 15K with 850Mhz gpu.
That looks like the non-pro...=2.8ns ram.Quote:

Taking a cheap card to practice on is a very good idea, best to lose only a little money while learning !
In regards to the score it does seem very low, however these cards are very memory bandwidth limited and I think there is a version of the X550 with 64 bit memory interface ..if that is being here then at 850MHz it is the most bandwidth limited card of all time. I'd need to see Orb links to 2001 and 03 runs though to be able to guess.
Have you got any links or were you too busy keeping an eye on your dry ice etc ?

Andy
juan has them he should upload them to the orb soonQuote:

We forgot to take a picture at 1400mhz, but here you go at 1000+ mhz.

We benched outdoors in an overclocking competition, we forgot to save the results for uploading them in the ORB. Anyways this we didn´t like the scores, we would prefer to try a VGA with better memory and attempt a trifecta.Quote:

I can imagine you were more concerned with the benching :)
I'm sure you'll be able to put up good scores and links in good time.
Good look with getting the trifecta :toast:

HI
I have a sapphire x550 pci-e 4ns samsung and venice 3000+ . all stock air now, but waiting for phase-change run (one for CP), second for GPU ;).
So ...card do 508/684 mhz all stock in Marks.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8888908
3dm01 = 16496 .
These tests have been on 490/666 mhz ..and 2655 mhz CPU .
But I have problems - i want to try to beat the WR in X550 but my cards is identyfy as a X600 :slapass:
In 3dmark's in Windows it's X550/X600 ...on ORB X600
In what way I can change that ??
PS. I can make a dry-ice/ln2 tubes in Europe cheap ;) .
Regards
Peter

thats the link to the orb
our card had 5ns mems and also it seems that clocks didnt apply correctly to the vga
also there was no optimization at all on the runs, only realtime
is it chilean? They have it in peru too :p: Awesome clocks btwQuote:
