Ironically enought the Asetek Antarctica is indeed a good GPU block :p:
Hejså oc.dk medlemmer :D
great sioux!!! :toast:
SIOUX, det er alt for vildt, jeg glemte at høre dig om en dato, hvornår er planen at det går løs?
One last thing, SIOUX, please keep us updated at the "central", ocinfo ;)
I'm looking forward to seeing what speeds you will acheive on that CPU with a bit better cooling :)
If you got some sparetime, I'll love to do a CPU-depending test challenge with you once we both got some better cooling (SPI, PiFast, E-calc etc. :))

SIUX what core u have this is pic of my core,i dont have time too test it completly, http://img506.imageshack.us/my.php?i...01021362xq.jpg , and one more question, why ati have on 520 core 321millions and g70 have only 302 millions transistors but nvidia have 24 pipes ati only 16,here something is wrong.
SIOUX whats the new driver u are using that at WHQL FM approved?

A big number of transistors inside R520 is used for the new ring-bus memory controller instead of the crossbar classic one.Quote:

Thanks guys:) i´m hoping that with some extra volts on the mem, i can do a bench at 1ghz . with 955 stock volts it should be posible. going for 12k 05 watercooled:)
this card is a nice clocker i think. i see Macci getting 850/955 on DICE. i benched my card yesterday at 823/960 1.6v on water in 01, so hoping to see some big numbers with some better cooling:)
that's one killer card you got there sioux, keep us posted :toast:
Really nice scores SIOUX :toast:
Your 05 score looks strong, I would imagine with your fx 57 @ over 3.5, should let you break 12K.
I belive thats not gonna happen, the CPU runs 3,6ghz on VapoLS :)Quote:

SIOUX, once again, looking forward seeing the final 01SE score, I got a idea kinc & kingpin will wetten their pants once your done benching ;)
Thanks guys:)Quote:

Ring-bus controller doesn't take as many transistors as one might think. The ultra-threading dispacher and dynamic branching implementation are probably the main reasons.Quote:

Oh and real nice clocks btw :toast:
Very nice man!
Nice job man might be time to play with throwing ice in the water while benching and other such cold bug work arounds.

Thats weird SIOUX, it looks like mine does need a warm up period, although maybe I just didnt give it enough volts to begin with, will have to check further though. Also I just remembered FUGGER posting about raising PCI-E freq with his X1800XL, just tried it on DFI NF4 Ultra and my XT, looks like it'll give performance increases too, with no stability loss (at 115MHz anyway), cant give any numbers yet but its definitely faster.
Well it looks liek the extra 15MHz PCI-E frequency is worth about 50 points in 3d03 with stock clocks, SIOUX does indeed have a good card, mine isnt even bench stable at 800MHZ 1.5V core looks like max for those volts is about 770 ish.
Thanks for the feedback, I just might be picking up one of these today. ;) Unfortunatly my XL seems to have unpredictable mood swings. :confused:Quote:
