Any difference between the Fx60test.zip Fx60test1.zip and the Fx60test3.zip?
I thought the Nf4 Boards have all the same Bios (expect the Expert und RDX2000)

RDX200 is an ATI Chipset board. ;)

I can't tell you the "technical" difference between the three, but I can tell you decisively that -2 is the most recommended version. I know this because I was told so by Andy of OCZ, Tony (a.k.a. - BIGtoe) of OCZ, Robert (a.k.a. - RGone) of DFI and Travis Hill (a.k.a. - Angry_Games) of DFI. They say that the -2 BIOS is the best one to use regardless of whether you are using the Orange or Yellow slots.
EDIT: Although some say that -2 BIOS is best for BH-5/UTT RAM, while -3 BIOS is best for TCCD memory. Click here:

I would still probably listen to the guys above though. :yepp:
I will give the -2 a go as soon as I am home then. Needed to flash it anyway, because I am still using the one it was shipped with :/
Edit: And welcome to the forum GARM :toast:
Edit2: Do you know what this means: " 2. This is a alpha bios for Rev E cpu's, do not use other revisions."
What is a rev E CPU? A CPU with E* stepping? Wouldnt that be all 939 cpus?
i'm not so sure about that in this case.. why is each version only showing up with different boards then?Quote:

I've been using the revised version 704-2 Beta BIOS by BigToe for a while now and it has been great! This version of BIOS is only available at the two links provided in the DFI-Street Thread I have provided below. The link to download this version is right in the pix or by clicking here: http://www.rgone.net/biosdownload/704-2BTA.zip

Fx60 is comign out to socket939, and its this soon.
Thanks
Well there is not much to say my stability increased in a way that i need less volts for the same overclock and my bh-5 go 2mhz higher :) i tested with sp2004.Quote:

It seems that all files are the same, so imho it is multi-compatible.

All they added was detection code for FX60, the new beta is probably just 623 with this code added.
I have 704-2 for the eXpert now also, voltages are specifically for the eXpert but its built off my 706 build i got off Oskar for the older NF4 models.
Im tweaking it now, then testing it, then i will release it.
maybe for expert bios naming convention change to x704-2 to denote expert so not to confuse with dfi nf4 in discussions ?

704-2 Was built off 316 which was a ground up build. It brings the yellow slots into play and is as good or better than any other build. I tweaked it to be more boot friendly as so many were having issues getting a boot from cold with a new board. It also when tweaked correctly allows for some fine overclocking and those who want the higher vcore options before are now finding they are hitting the higher clocks with less voltage.
I have called the expert bios E704-2BT.BIN, E being expert. I will release it soon as i have a feeling most will like this build.
It is dated 18/11, remember though it has 706 memory tables but the expert voltage options etc.
U know why the 704 have this vcore-bug and u can fix it? I would love to see teh BTA with vcore above 113%, then in the coming winter time i must change to 510-2 hellfire, bcs. of the higher vcore options, then i can max out my cpu. ;)
