What method of burning in you using? just prime or some other one
3g at 1.55 down to 1.45 is impressive, i wanna get my x2@2500 down to 1.3 or lower like that.
I think maybe because the power of AS5 got released after couple of hours. :p: Also since that my confidence for the cpu is not very strong before :( so I did set it to a high voltage.Quote:

nice one, 1.5v is good for 3ghz :D
now to go 3ghz+
I mean i set it to 1.5 and auto in the Bios of my DFI nf4Quote:

dont trust what it says in windows, it always reports lower than it actually is on dfi boards, the bios is a closer reading.
I think you're mistaken.Quote:

Th truth is that both numbers are fromthe same source (on die measurement) but windows inserts idle cycles which cool down the CPU, whereas BIOS doesn't. So in Windows, temps are actually lower. If you put a temp probe on it you will see this is true.

Nice results.. !
I need to stop reading about these cpu's.. now I want one.. :)
That's a real nice chip..... I have to use 1.6v to stay stable on mine, although I'm using tighter timings on the ram.
nope im not, i was on about volts not temps lolQuote:

its just like my 146, stable running 3ghz with 1.45V in the bios but windows says its only 1.4V
was just a warning incase anyone bumps it up to a reading of 1.7V in cpu-z as it will actually be around 1.75V and a smokin chip lol
Nice cpu mate :)
in 2 years or so I'll get a opeteron or something like that :p: (going to keep this setup for 2 years or... at least try ;))
I just got my 144 in. For my initial testing, I kept the same settings of my Venice, and dropped the VCore to default, and this is what I got...

This same chip has done 3GHz on air with 1.4v, so I'm very excited to see where I can get it.
what stepping is that tsuehpsyde
Look for yourself.Quote:

Oh, and a CPU-Z validation with 1.31.

Edit: Fixed URL. :slap:
Looks like mine. Why are you dinking around getting a 2.7 valid., don't insult that chip. :nono: I only know of one with that stepping that didn't do great. Maybe you can pass me up. :)Quote:

tsuehpsyde, I had one of those....2.7 doesn't do it justice at all.....some good FXs have the EXACT same stepping.
So far, 2.8GHz is prime-stable at the same stock volts (auto's to 1.35v). passed thru 8k and 10k without error. Wonder how high it'll go...as of now, I only have a lame X2 cooler for it, but I'll have to look into an XP-90C or water cooling (preferrably water, but I'm like broke right now...I was able to sell my Venice to get this for minimal cost from a friend).Quote:

I don't know how long high it will go but it's excruciating to watch.

:off: Your hijacking wwwys thread. :nono: and I just can't bear to watch any more. :zombie:
i can pass OCCT @ 3ghz no probs... but my 32M fails quick... trying to narrow down what the problem could be
This is all she has on stock volts, I'll do more testing tomorrow, sleep time.
