For the Vdroop mod, connect a 100k variable resistor between the two points I've marked. Before modding, check that the point I've labeled reads Vcore. Decrease resistance until there is only a small amount of droop.

do i need to measure these 3 pints what u marked out or only that chip leg???
what happens if i decrease resistance too much? to any mosfets heat up with that???
Have any pencil mod for that?
check the voltage at the point where there is space for a capacitor to be soldered circle with half of it coloured white.
I can't follow the traces on the picture, so its a bit hard to work out any pencil mods :(
If you decrease resistance too much, you could damage the Vcore capacitors and MOSFETs. Vcore will probably be decreased slightly by the mod.
mr Kjaups can i know what memory do u used
U said in msn that u have done VDIMM mod for that motherboard.Quote:

PQI ram with PQI chips on it.
i mod my mobo by connect the yellow pin to the ground with 50K.
any suggestion for the VCORE mod.
for mr Kjaups can i know your RIG, THX :)
Thanx, now i will find some stuff and start to mod  .Quote:

@ hendrasystemind
Are u sure that u connected 50k with pin 2 ???
My motherboard stoped responding for 10 minutes with that mod :S ....
I hope, that nothing serious hapened.
Can u give me some picturs of your mod
sorry, i uploaded a wrong picture :(
btw do u check u soldering, any short component ?
connect the pin no 6 with a 50K to the ground.
please check the lm 324 datasheet. i think is pin no 6
here is my mod pic. (dont have a camera right now :D )
what is the status now on a good Vcore Vmod ?
This is from my p4p800-se the first is the vdroop with the solder on the chip its to a 100k pot, i think its the p4p800 se i was so proud i took a pic, it was my first vmod.
