Please keep the availability issues away from this thread and lets focus to overclocking part :)Quote:

Nice hope you can find a program or registry tweak to get that card up there since your max clock is limited by software.
I already have a fix which is supposed to remove this limit. I'll test that next week.Quote:

Can you measure the distance on the mounting holes? :)
Also, is this a cherry card or just a plan old x1800xt? Wondering how retail cards will OC compared to this...
(sorry for posting this pic again but this is so totally in context)Quote:

The X1800s use the same mounting as the 6800/7800s. This doesn't seem to be a cherry picked but rather just the one he took home from a day at work in Ibiza ;)Quote:

Do you have an X1800XL to compare it to? It would be nice to know which R520 core you have. I know I saw one in your cereal box....
Yes I have an X1800 XL. I'll check that out later.Quote:

great work sampsa, the x1800xt looks very impressive :toast:
that sound bad, im wonder if that thing will happen with the dfi rx200...Quote:

very nice '05 score there!
but wait a sec! =P in your first post you wrote, you benchmarked with "Doom 3, Battlefield 2, Half-life 2 and Call of Duty 2".
what about the results? :)
atm i'm more interested in game-performance. hang on it :)
To me the first 1Ghz card gpu is more important than a score since Sli / Crossfire came out. 1GHz is surely a trophy worth having.
Good luck Sampsa with the overclocking.
Regards
Andy
Completely agreed there Andy....1GHZ/2GHz clocks would be simply outstanding, I look forward to seeing some numbers from them ;)
Damn, cant wait
Thanks for sharing, I know I have been dying to know these kinds of results =)
I hope I should be picking a X1800XT on Thursday, any issues to have in mind?
Sampsa, did ATI send you the X1800? or did you use your credit card?
