OCZ using TCCD Chips in all Platinum Memory except PC3200 Platinum (non Rev 2)

Great to hear, but bad for me. Just RMA'd my TCCD plat. rev 2's like 2 weeks ago and got TCC5 back. Bummer. :(

Just some FYI: The TCC5 RMA's are being filled with existing RMA stock. So if you RMA with TCC5 you may get TCC5 back. Have no regrets as the TCC5 does just as well. :)

If you mean PC3200 Platinum Rev2 v1.0 or v1.1, they both do 2-2-2 timings at 200 and will run the same timings at higher speeds. Since they are on the bottom of the "food chain" so to speak, they likely will not clock as high as our PC4200 and PC4800 Platinum or 4800 Platinum Elite Edition products, due to the binning process.

Predicting final speeds is impossible.

Just bought a stick 3200 Rev2 to replace a defective Geil TCCD one.

It's single channel but I'm really impressed... I'm running PC5000 speeds stable with this PC3200 Ram :slobber: Should be good for 300+Mhz in dual channel

Only problem now it doesn't play nice in dual channel mode ,together with my (working) Geil TCCD stick. The Geil TCCD needs 2,8+vdimm :slapass:
This one likes 2,6-2,73vdimm so it seems. Together it's BSOD galore

I guess I'll have to get me an OCZ platinum PC4800 stick to match this one :D The PC4800 platinum should be good for 300 2,5-3-3-5 and low vdimm , no?

Anyway , OCZ pc3200 REV2 is awesome stuff

Great results!

Always match your memory. If you get the PC4800, you might have an issue running the unmatched OCZ sticks. Get another PC3200 Rev 2 from the same store. ;)
