Very Interesting. Most X2 3800's say 1.350v/63C MaxTCase. Mine says 1.300v/61C :

Unfortunately my overclock is limited at the moment because of wonky DFI NF3 mobo which refuses to boot *any* chip above 250 HTT
Weird, it must be in the stepping! Cuz mine is 61c VCore 1.3v hmmm.Quote:

I am now stable at 2.9ghz at 1.58v but I am going to lower them and see how long I can run prime... I hit a wall cuz my PWMIC was getting way to hot. I put a fan on it and now no freezing or failures.
I edited my first post up there with more infos about it and no it's not 100% stable. 100% stable between 2925 and 2975 Mhz, Im running for my last wanted MHZs so I won't have to underclock my VX 500Mhz :p:Quote:

PS: what's wrong with Superpi? I couln't resize the window to see the last line and the validation ID  Max temp was 39C btw during test while browsing this forum

oh yeah...
2835 totally stable, 1.42v
2925 benches well, 1.55v
probably do a little more 24/7 but i try to keep temps below 45c on the chip, it has been up to 60c though.
Is there only one CPU in the system or are there two? The program should've been able to find two CPUs, but I see it only found one.Quote:

Mine is a week younger. It's a CDBHE 0527TPBW. I'm testing to see how high the chip will go at stock volts (1.300v). So far it's Stress Prime stable at 2300.Quote:

does 270x10 fine @ 1.52v. haven't tried higher.
Mine stinks, but then again it's only able to do 2.4Ghz no matter what voltage I throw at it.

couldnt' get it stable at anything more than 2.6 Ghz with voltage up to around 1.6v :(
Hi, sorry this is on a single cpu motherboardQuote:

How come same family cpus, for example, 3700+/4000+ SD have different case temps?

if this is any help: my D0 Palermo can run at 80 degrees Celcius and still be 100% stable... with a 45% OC
Yes and why does madpete's FX-55 have quite a low case temp. Surely fx chips are speed binned to be the best clockers.Quote:
