this is one im using for vgpu for 7800, both pics are similar points.
Perhaps only different ground points? That's what I see, plz s7e9h3n take a look.
his vdd and vgpu are same as in ViperJohn's mod, only ground to C525 point is different.
ground is to pci-e power connector ground :slap:
:toast:
Yep :cool:Quote:

Hmmm....I guess I can't say I'm for sure since I haven't yet seen a 7800 up close and personal so I concede :p: It's just that the vmod points look very diff. to me. Plus, someone showed me this pic today, which definately is a different solder point:Quote:

so that's why Viperjohn got some problems on rendering;)
Wrong vgpu solder point great. Good thing i am reading all this before i fire up this card. :p:Quote:

however, my asus card is playing funky on the rivatuner max dependant on which board i use....the 754 asus NF4x gets me 1336, the asus sli gets me 1350, the dfi gets me 1.28? i gotta sort that out first before i try any mods.
So gonna give u guys the links and pics of the test day (night) later but now the scores and mhz ;)

Amazing results man! Great job!
I'm curious, what exactly are you mounting those RAM sinks with?
Really nice done!
I just did a quick test of the different solderingpoints for the vpgu mod and I am quite convinced that all are the same. I'm shoting for Johns diagram :)
That pic was submitted by Jason57570 to Malves or ViperJohn (dont remember exactly) but that indeed differs from the point showed by Malves on his page.Quote:

A word of advice - next time you try to take pics with the digicam, make sure you set it to macro mode (the pic of the little flower). That may be the reason your pics are so blurry.... :toast:Quote:
