Alrite, instead of making a new thread, I'll post here. I put d2ol on my cousins comp. Its a celeron 2.6 with 512mb ram (I think only like 128k cache). How much can I expect from that daily?

Shouldnt be too bad although at 128 KB on netburst arch should hinder performance even with non-cache caring d2ol. Im thinking around 75 a day maybe more or less.... ballpark it 70 - 80. No way to OC it ? My celly d did 130+ a day @ 3.8ghz albeit.Quote:

Maybe next time I go over there I'll OC it up to 3ghz or so. So I should expect anywhere from 60-80? I'm happy with that. I'll be sure to oc it next time. Where should it go on stock cooling? How much for 100 a day?Quote:

Those are just so terrible its hard to believe otherwise. Celly D's dont seem to be affected nearly as much with 256 kb l2. It should do more than 60 .... thats rediculously bad for a processor at 2.6ghz.Quote:

which is Tuesday, December 13, 2005
so we seem to be on schedule.
Ahh cows are sneaky ..... I wouldn't set that date in stone. I know they have several sub teams that still run d2ol and their periodical dumps. Anyhow I do think that they are mostly done with d2ol. A stampede also might not happen either since so many users are committed to FAD.Quote:

I'm back from holiday :)
My output has been extremely small because of this and I will get back to full capacity asap. There should be an update in a couple of weeks or months, this means that I will be able to let one machine (a64) run 24/7 which it doesn't atm.
Looks like our team is back to full activity and I'm glad to be back :)
Welcome back dude :D
minnyboy,
copying "C:\Program Files\SengentD2OL" to every machine is probably the easyest way. install d2ol daddy and make it a service and ur done.
and btw, ive got a few cands building up bit by bit aswell. shhhhhhh!
about 2/3 of the team are actually still doing it. we are definatly going to need more
im still here, just work 6 days a week and living onsite since driving a lot sucks.. so buffer :D
I think a lot of people are also on vacation, talking about UK/ eu people (read: young people like -18 year olds) that are on holiday now (USA to I guess, don't know when your vacation starts/stops so.....) so I think we will see a small rise in production come september when the schools re-open and people don't spend as much time gaming any more.
So that's where you've been... Haven't seen you around in a while STEvil :)
Hmm good point about the school and less gaming thing... Colder temps allow better overclocks :D
Afireinside, you said it. In winter my PSU is stable as hell due to the cold air it gets and my OC will raise by a 150MHZ :)
I'm out 250mhz because my SB is roasting in these room temps :(
thats my problem. My CPU and NB and SB are cool as hell (should be with all the fans I have pointed at them) but my PSU can't cut it no more :p:
A shame really because the rig in itsself is a pretty decent cruncher and a very nice gamer also
According to the stats, gentlemen. We will no longer be taking over DPC anytime soon...
...rather, with the current events, will be taken over by Team Anandtech in less than a 100 days.Quote:

We were gunna trash them this year, but cos LBM left they have left us high and dry...Abysmal rate? We are still doing 35-40k per day, by no means abysmal :stick:Quote:

And I agree, that was quite high and dry.
And I almost forgot, is any of the people that joined hardware asylum a bit ago going to start crunching for us again. I know that Kazoo is back crunching for us. (Thank you very much Kazoo) But it looks like the others are unassigned and not crunching.
Orta,
JJCom is back crunching for us too...i believe. And also, you have to learn to you use the "Edit" button ;) Triple posting shouldn't be necessary.
