I see a lot of people using the voltage reported in cpu-z. Is this the voltage that we should be refering to. Currently I have mine at 1.65v but I know what ever it is set to in the bios is higher like 1.7 or more. Dfi is really quirky so you never know.
Some of the temps I've seen in this thread are too high for the heatsink being used. As a reference I built a system with an XP-120 on a venice at 1.56v @ 289x9 and didn't get temps much higher than 41c. This was with a panaflo medium speed fan. I love the XP-120 for air cooling it is a very good design especially when it is combined with a dfi 939 board.
I should add that I always sand down the bottom of any heatsink with a flat mirror up to a wet 2000 grit.
