bachus.. know whether running 250 is really clocking ur ram to 250 when u are at 200 yet?

doesn't show in cpuz :S

Well... As we all know by now, all apps show wrong frequencies. But here's quick 2M run for comparison:

224x11=2464Mhz div250 DDR560 (280Mhz) 6-3-3-2.5-1T

274x9=2466Mhz div250 DDR548 (274Mhz) 6-3-3-2.5-1T

Both are pretty much same results, within margin of error ;) There's a difference of 6Mhz on DDR as I wanted to keep same CPU clocks.
I know that larger calculations would be better but that was supposed to be quick test...

275 so far with GH...was hard with 618-2 bios... :toast:
Try it with utt and you will like it :D

so you gained mem clock with this bios? which one? -1 -2 or -3?

hmm according to the guide in the amd stickys section -1 is general tccd/bh/utt -2 is for bh utt -3 tccd tcc5 . flashed 623-3 and it set the settings pretty much the same as i do on my tccd

lmfao it kills me how everyone still argues about that. it amazes me ocz and dfi have even branded them at for utt or tccd ect. EVERY BOARD, MEMORY, AND CPU IS DIFFERENT. ITS WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! I REPEAT, ITS WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!!!

this is what ive come to from my years of overclocking. Oppainter's (iirc is who it is) board works best with bios 125 for god sakes while others like me cant do :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: with that bios. like back in the lan party B days, i have CRAZY luck with merlins bios, i couldnt POST with ANY of oscar wus bioses, and hellfires sucked for me. complete opposite for other ppl and suck. ITS WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!

I know what you mean. I'm always advocating that people should test each version ( -1, -2 and -3) for themselves if they've got the time but people still want to debate it :)

havent done extensive testing, but still cant break 244-245 or so in windows (using previous settings on utt bh in orange). memtest is fine to 250. i just dont get it. unless im doing something horribly wrong...

running the -3 works fine for me.. dont know if its helped my overclock as im using new cpu and bios today for the first time

I'm with 702-1.. No difference from 510 to 615 to 623 and til now.. Lolz.. I really feel that there isn't any difference except for different options..

I flashed to 702-2 this morning with my 4x512mb 3200rev2's installed.. I was testing these with the 510-2 bios and had it pretty stable at 264x11.. I'll mess with this bios later tonight, but it flashed fine..

Im with you on that dude.. I was getting sweet results with -2 bios and my tcc5..

i flashed to -2,and found a bug,when using the 233 or 250 im mem divider,after changing setings,reboot or power up i have to go a second time to bios and save,if i dont do this the vdimm hardware monitor shows 3.3vdimmm,but the value that i have defined(3.6v)is there(when i save it goes to normal value 3.6v,after reboot ou shutdown,gos to 3.2v(this is why i have to save them at every reboot or power up).

htt/(7/6) = 230
Think that should work. I will update dfi-bios.tk with these bios's.

it should be HTT*(5/4)

i.e. 200htt*1.25 = 250 DDR500

HTT*(7/6)

i.e. 200htt*1.16 = 233 DDR466

I didn't look at the BIOS screen shot close enough the first time around...
