"But, besides all the fun and games the FX57 also comes with some important new additions such as support for 4 Single Sided DIMM’s at a full 400 MHz and 1T. As well as the addition of the SSE3 instructions."
is this true?
yeah, but so do all venices and san diegos.
Funny thing though is I could not get it to work with 4 x single sided DIMMs at DDR400 even though it should :(

Am I correct in saying that the max safe voltage should be lower than with FX55 because of 90nm process?
hmm you can put 1.7v through it without problems

this is really some trouble you got there. It ought to work fine with 4x SS sticks and 1T.Quote:

nice job :toast:
Unfortunately, a raise the V-Core takes nothing for Maches for 2 for GT more
at mine at all. A stronger cooling already should here there. I think the higher
tension then takes, too still more performance. I can test this if everything opens within the coming days.
The FX57 with standard tension of 1.36 volt Primes/occt Stable run to almost 3300 Mhz!

I'm sure on cascade at -90C it's possible to bench at 4GHz
I'll try :D
I must break some WRs again :)
