If they allow the "public" to have the BIOS, then people will "turn off" their thermal controls and their partners may get tons of RMA'd overheated boards... logical, but it sucks!!Quote:

Hope you guys break some records! I can't imagine what scores it'll get with the cold bug finally gone for a bit.
If you meet with one of the NV guys in person they are very willing to give you unofficial "hacked" bioses with whatever functions you want disabled under the condition you don't distribute them.

I know, they'll probably start to throttle for some people in cold climates during the winter, even with the stock cooler. :)Quote:

Well they can just say flashing the BIOS will void the warrenty... Besides, anyone who knows how to and is willing to flash a video card BIOS probably has the slightest clue what they are doing...Quote:

I have serius problem running 3d03 nature..when CPU is 300x11
^^ nice results opb really impressive using which of your fx 55 line up? why you dont try your old fx ??? maybe you can bench at higher speed?
OPB are you using Phase Change?
no, the problem is why I can run 3d05 @ 3300(300x11) but not for 3d03..?weird
Are they loud ? or similar to 6800 in term of noise (heat too)Quote:

Good job OPB :toast:
Unfortunately 3DMark05 with GeFroce 7800 GTX SLI is more system depending than graphics cards :(
Much quieter than 6800UQuote:

@OPB ... 533 core clock on Aquamark and 519 on 3Dmark '05? Good OC if thats air cooled. I think OPP used some Swiftech water blocks ...and an awesome CPU clock ...to crack 16K on '05. Just wondering what you're cooling plans are for your cards?
For those of you with air or water: How are you guys hitting such high core speeds with your GTXs? Volt mods?
Mine is watercooled with a DD Maze4 but I can't bench without artifacts at anything over 495/1330. Temps never get above 48 degrees.
I'd welcome some tips.
OPB JOINS THE FRAY :p: :D !!!
And to think we all thought he'd go on a vacation :(
Nice to have you back OPB, when we be seeing YOUR tri cascade action ?? :p:
Perkam
Congrats opb.. mayb you break the 2k1 wr if you go on!
Compare URL with GeForce 7800 GTX (Stock cooling)

Here is the max i could get without artefacts with innovatek 6800 modified waterblocks
I need more cpu's mhz!
